Is stuff in home respawn?
Like garlic braids and elven ears? cups and bows on shelfs and furnitures?
I mean vanilla home not hearthfire

Pretty sure that items in vanilla player-owned homes do not respawn. This makes it safe for you to keep your stuff there. In other homes I think that it is only items in chests that respawn.

oh, so if I gather alhemy ingredients in my house it wont respawn?
BarbarianHeart Dec 19, 2016 @ 3:20pm
You would be better off finding them in the wild or buying them from merchants.

Thanks

I think the stuff that hangs from the ceiling will respawn, but nothing that lies around or is in a container.

Standard clutter items in game like garlic and hanging rabbits respawn (inside) every 30 in game days. BarbarianHeart is correct about the chests and barrels in player homes (except for the safe in the hearthfire bedrooms, and Solitude bedroom)

Exterior harvestable ingrediants like lavendar or mountain flowers respawn every 10 in game days, anything you plant in the hearthfires gardens respawns every 3 days.

Hi bear ... long time no see LOL

I am still here just have to get some sleep and study :P
So let me claryfy... alchemy ingredients respawn, barrels and chests are safe containters that will not respawn. And other clutter on shelfs and tables not respawn?

More or less exactly right ... the same reset that replaces the garlic and stuff (30 days) will also reset the furniture if you get rid of plates and pots and things. But yes you don't have to worry about chests and barrels.

Here's a link to a good set of wiki pages to look stuff like that up.

Oh, many thanks. It seems I have to avoid getting in to the house as well for this 30 days.

You're welcome, I'm not sure that's always true (at least with the Hearthfires homes) but a good trick to get used to if you run into situations where you want a reset is to go to a safe vanilla room like an inn. Do a real save, (not that useless quick save crap) then open the console and type PCB (clears the player cell buffer) and sleep for 30 days. Bit of a pain, you can only rest 24 hours at a time without mods, and remember to turn off needs mods first, but it will put the entire game in a fresh known state at all locations... I call it sweeping the cob webs (and do it about as often LOL)

PCB you say and wait for 30 days? Oh my, that's quite some time :P
I may give it a try then :) See for myself

Just when you need too, I found when I payed mostly vanilla, that I would mine out all of the local ore, and still had no where near enough to build the houses. I didn't realize it was the respawn bug ... (there's a fix.) I read about forcing the reset in the readme of a mod to fix an update glitch ages ago, and the trick just stuck. Forced the reset and mined everything all over again.

You have that backwards. Containers don't respawn, everything else does though.

No, it's not that long. The regular respawn rate is 10 days, which includes the Hearthfire homes. Only areas that are marked on your map as "Cleared" require 30 days.

I have otrher question if we are in houses topic. Do you know any decent house mod for Winterhold Pale region? This is only hold without any house.

And thanks for respond claryfying :)

Does that mean that objects I place myself will vanish too, even inside the home?

For example I like to place dwemer cutlery on my breezehome table.
