That doesn't make sense. Why would Auriel's bow count as a Daedric artifact but not the bow as well? Furthermore it would place much less pressure on finding 15 different Daedric artifacts since some of the actual Daedric quests are just (politely) crap.
Perhaps this is something for the unofficial patch modders to consider.
Or if you want a real world explanation, because the programmers didn't want to take apart the entire game to add a category for one item added by the Dawnguard DLC.
The bow and shield came out as part of the Dawnguard DLC and as such were never part of the original achievements ... Steam didn't bother adding them, it's got nothing to do with Bethersda. Of course they are artifacts ... just not to steam.

But yet I got the Daedric Influence achievements by picking up Auriel's Bow.
Well that seems like it's the thing that's wrong.
