Most probably not the save as Gnewna wrote, but maybe an ESP without BSA attached (not really sure though). ESPs should be able to be opened with Creation Kit 2.0.

I'd try it, but, despite having old oblivion installed, i have no saves for it. Had a quick look through my drives but i can't find any around.

'fraid i can't test this. (Would be interested to see if it does work though!)

According to some post, someone already tried and it turned out to be a disaster. Al mods are ESPs (Creation Kit 2.0) without BSAs. Visuals are created with an UE5 editor. for uploaded mods with the files I mentioned before. All mods on Nexus, except Reshaders, are either CK 2.0 ESPs or UE5 visuals.

We're discussing under the hood. To be fair even as little as I've seen I'm finding the crafting of potions fascinating. You know I started harvesting fungus in the sewers, I've been collecting... everything LOL. 'Oh look a shiny red tomato in the sewer, let me grab that' LOL and I've just begun to realize that everything in this bloody game is an ingredient.

Mortar & pestle to mix, Calcinator to magnify, Alembic to purify. I'm comfy already. Ham and grapes... really? :steammocking: I mean I get it; in Skyrim the alchemy table is the mortar, and the Alembic is built in... yada yada. There is a certain charm to having to collect the tools. And I wasn't willing to steal them from the monk. I have what I collected in the sewers, but I'm seeing that there's more to the craft than we get in Skyrim. I'm looking forward to tasting ingredients for the first time in years LOL

BTW, I may start over after a quick run around, I may not. I picked a Nord thief adventurer. (Think scout with a bow) There was a certain comfort in the choices, but it's not exactly the best fit for the game from what I read. I didn't realize being a Nord Nerfs your intelligence, which limits the spells you can cast. Skyrim from the other side of the mirror. No wonder Nords hate magic, it's above them ;-) But not the best choice as a first character. Everyone said go Dunmer, best overall balance, and the fire resistance really helps around the gates. I could see that. Right now I'm just having fun going where the game sends me. I completely ignored the city, and headed straight to the priory. Running, jumping, and killing wolves. I'm actually quite good with a shield. Who knew? Took a break and went into town to find a smith to fix my armor, and I bought a spare set selling all the stuff I collected along the way. I'm such a total noob I'm loving it. There's an inn which is good because I haven't slept in two days and I'm still level 1. I'm sort of glad I didn't run straight into the city hit the arena, level everything up... As I said, there's a certain charm to being a noob.

No doubt. I keep reeding about the bugs. Beth probably only converted the ESPs for Creation Kit 2.0, but may have done nothing about the scripting, quest issues, etc..

Have you looked at certain faces, uncanny. Not even a modder would do that. I say they used AI to make this version. With the right questions, AI can enhance your game.

Some of the faces are passably ugly, but a lot of them are Horrific in an Innsmouth way. These people have definitely been breeding with the Outer Gods. And a lot of them walk like they escaped from The Planet of the Apes. I actually thought I saw a gibbon walk by before I realised it was a Khajit. Overall, they look worse then the original. Some of the new voice acting is not great either.

The bugs haven't changed, except this time there's no unofficial patch to fix them. One new bug I've seen is the oblivion gates were open as soon as I left the Imperial city. I closed one in my way before I came anywhere near Kvatch. And despite a few tweaks to the UI, it's still as clunky as before, if not more so.

Still, I'm playing on an RTX 3060 with 16 Gb ram, on medium settings and it does look really good otherwise.

:steambored: *waves* There's nothing like the aroma of that first cuppa the morning after pub night. MMM I haven't had that first sip but it's already working it's magic LOL.

Morning Gnewna, Steve. OBSE64... well that explains why Altbert needed CK2 to open the files. We sort of new it was coming when the Achievement enabler was released. My first thought was where's the script extender? Guess it was the right question to ask.

only 27 new mods, the divines are smiling at a fuzzy headed old cat for once LOL

Gooooooood Morning Tamriel!

Ah'vrie wishes you well. It is Fredas the 25th of Rain's Hand and thank the divines the weekend is nigh. It's a beautiful predawn here on warm sands. The blessed moons will be new this weekend and the hunters will be making merry for sure. Anyway, it's time once again for Ah'vrie to tend the inn. Excuse please while the fires are stoked, and fresh water is put to the flame...

Our brew of the day is Kahawa ya Congo, and the biscuits are Tate's chocolate chip. Checking the hot sheets we have 27 new mods. An eclectic mix with plenty of jiggles and patches. Let's see what catches the eye over a fresh cuppa... Definitely a fresh cuppa.

Changes sprint speed from the default 500 to 600, 700, 800, 900, or 1000. It affects both you and NPCs. Added werewolves. Only sprint. ESL. Thanks, another for the pile. We do like choice, but 1000 LOL. Run from Riften to Markarth in 2 minutes. Oookay

"An overhaul of the Cradle Stone Tower Location. Re-imagined Into an ancient ruin featuring new assets." Most of the 'added ruins' mods always look out of place to an old cat's eye. This one is... interesting. It has a sort of 'Weathertop' vibe from LOTR. This definitely is more interesting than the ubiquitous vanilla tower it replaces. 2 cookies

And that will do for today. The fires are stoked, the ketles scrubbed, and the floors are swept. Have a seat and the wenches will serve you. We-B-Open! :steamhappy:

@ todays mods/Occult Cradle Stone Tower. First, I had to look up where Cradle Stone Tower was. I might give this a try-the assets look like they belong with nearby Bard's Leap structures.
