Keep it clean (mostly) While the game is listed as mature, a lot of the people aren't
Keep it civil (always) arguing a little is fine, just keep it friendly

I have used the CK (latest) but not yet CKPE. I suspect there is something wrong with the .nif files. I still have to install NifSkope and check the files from PP. I will let you know.

Just had a look with NifSkope and definitely the wrong diffuse and normal textures were used. In opened state the gate uses stone floor textures.

Valentine's Screen Archery Competition

Don't know why they are calling it a screen archery competition, as going by the winners in their previous competitions, it is an AI and Digital Manipulation/editing competition. All those just taking screenshots of their game, and not using AI or a photoshop like program, need not enter.

(They do state no AI allowed, but it was painfully obvious in the previous winners, that it had been used.)

Nexus is seemingly getting as far away from the truly gamer oriented site that it once was, and becoming just another suit in the corporate world.

So, my advice - if you are taking screenshots of your game and thinking of entering them, unless you a semi professional or a gifted amateur in the use of digital enhancement software, don't bother.

Morning DM, not the first time I've oopsed in the last decade, I'm happy to say I can still count them on one hand ;-) What's annoying is there really wasn't anything I'd actually recommend or use today. So the oops was extra annoying LOL. Coffee to the rescue

Even though i do not have much faith in the overall fairness of Nexus' Screen Archery competition by their allowing digitally manipulated images, I've decided to enter a pic anyway (just cropped it to more focus on the characters - no other changes made):

It took a while, but I finally got the gate fixed. The gate has 6 editor markers that keep the opened doors in place. Each of these markers have strange diffuse and normal textures attached (grey floor, grey wall and dry oak), which I have all removed in NifSkope. Of course I then ended up with the purple textures. In the CK I replaced those with the NullTextureSet.

Glad you got the issue sorted Alle. It does seem funny that no one else noted the issue. Lets face it the average modder is not going into Nif and then the CK to make corrections, someone should have mentioned it out of the 4k or so downloads.

Anyway great work getting to the bottom of it

But seeing how it is an unretouched or edited pic, but is purely (except for the fact I cropped it) exactly what appeared in game and on my screen, well that's already a strike against it. Still, I happen to think this is one of my best pics as far as showing the main characters in my game are concerned, so figured I'd give it a go.

Will be interested to see some of the other pics entered.
