Hi guys,

Morning Xy, Nexus has been haveing issues off and on with slow/glitchy downloads. If it doesn't clear up for you, I'd go to the nexus setup tab and try a different download server. If that doesn't help. Wipe your API key and shut down MO2, then open your default browser and log into Nexus, then go back to the Nexus tab in MO2 and get a new API key. That usually fixes anything on your end, but if it's nexus having issues you won't notice a difference until they fix it.

That Aela looks good, but nothing like vanilla. Which, tbf, I don't think she's supposed to given the face is taken from a standalone follower mod they made (called Alison Young, featuring a three-page backstory... Always fascinate me, those generic hot followers with a lengthy spiel on the mod page)

LOL, I just realized she reminds me of Bijin not vanilla. I stand corrected.

Morning!

Ah! Yeah, that makes more sense. Personally I'd love a slightly enhanced vanilla look for her, she's one of the better-designed NPCs IMO. But the only options for that are things like Nordic Faces which ew, don't like the use of EFM across the board cause it makes noses smaller and makes female elves look rubbish.

It's just funny that I used Bijin for so many years back in oldrim that for me it pretty much became vanilla in my head.

ah that may explain it. It's been a while that I've been using Nexus servers extensively.

My major towns are almost redone. I've decided to go for something new instead of the good old JK's Skyrim. Got some interesting mods but most of my time is spent on checking compatibility with several other mods I have in the pipeline; Lux, Lux Orbis, Northern Roads and other mods that has an influence in the city I am working on! :lunar2019shockedpig:

Thanks god for Spaghetti's cities. There are some mods for Markarth but they're HUGE and had to rub my eyes out. Markarth is a neglected city (I'm only there for one or two quests?), so Spaghetti's Markarth is ok enough :steamhappy:

Me too, but since last night. I haven't installed one mod. Cause i do not know, what to pick as a total NPC overhaul. It indeed used to be Bijin. Now i do not know. It ain't gonna be poly, that's for sure. Already have enough of them, to turn my GPU into a small oven.

I think I'm going with Northborn for the men, and I may pick and choose individual replacers for the women. Lord knows there's more than enough jiggle to choose from in this game. Where I keep stalling is picking a mod that covers the generic npcs better. I'll get there.

But for now I have testing to finish so it's time for another excitring adventure of...
Cat's in Spaaace!

I had to do a vanilla restart yesterday in SF to test a mod I'm making. Time for this one to 'finish the tutorial' :steammocking:

Did you pick a AIO for the towns or individual mods. I myself like Riton and Gravunlom, with some extra's. But to say, that Markarth is neglected.

I would not say that.

Northborn sounds good. Also i remember pandora. But i ain't going for jiggles.

Never really liked Bijin, they're good looking but I just think high glam looks a bit silly in a fighter (or indeed a merchant, almost anyone in Skyirm, really). It's like those silly skimpy blacksmith outfits, I just wince at all the burns Adrianne would be getting if she ever wore something like that! But I'm not really the target audience (I like ladies but I like ladies who look competent and prepared, even Aela's vanilla outfit makes me roll my eyes a bit but I'm sure there's a story she never tells us about it, though I'm inclined to use xabvio's retexture with the optional trouser mesh)

* cough *

I also forgot how vanilla textures looked. I was surprised with this NPC when checking my Markarth mods because I though it was probably from a mod and may need some correction. But it is from base game....

You mean the amount of Quests and all. I never really noticed that.
There's enough to do, but not enough for each guild you can pick.

Ahh, I'm in love, look at all that useful and neatly displayed info from console. I can think of a game that needs this badly.

Aela makeover is pretty nice. The author seems to do some pretty interesting work without going full blown glam.
