That's what we get when statisticians don't understand how statistics work.

Yes, we have more direct ancestors than have ever lived, including more direct ancestors from Charlemagne's time than there were people alive at that time...
But that doesn't mean we are descended from all of them, just that we are descended from a few of them multiple times...

You could be descended from Charlemagne, as could most of us, but it isn't an automatic no matter what the statisticians say.

So guess what, after 5 hours of play. I decided that i did not like, certain creatures and armor and weapons. Also saw some new cool mods. Real shiny armor, 8K parallax.

I can't help myself. I mod so much. That i never even finished dawnguard.

Statistically, yes! Suppose each new generation appears on average after 30 years, it would take someone born in 2024, the proband, 42 generations to reach an ancestor in the 8th century (Charlemagne 748-814). That person should have 2^42 = 4,398,046,500,000 ancestors in the 42nd generation. The world population in the 8th century is estimated at 200 to 250 million. Estimated population in Europe between 0 and 1000 AD was between 34 and 40 million.

I was thinking the same thing - but in real life and fast forward - LOL! Seems like it was just 4 PM a little while ago, and when I looked just a couple of minutes past, it was closing in on 9 PM!

It's not a DLC, it's yet another empty land based on a sentence in a book. with a short quest thrown in. Think about it, A days sail north of Winterhold is a graveyard for the fallen.

I'd love to be proven wrong, but until shown otherwise, this is simply another location someone with a good idea and large ambitions started, and is now looking for other modders to fill it. It's not the first

By all means please enjoy. I'm sure it will be pretty. Like the others. Let us know, I'd love to be wrong. The last one I tried had about a half hour quest to get a house, then absolutely nothing to do at all but sight see and hunt.

I don't know much about Olenveld, but at least it's got actual voice acting in it! I've definitely seen some anticipation about it from people in some of my Discord servers, will be curious to see how it goes now it's out.
