I actually interrupted that last night. Heavy rad storm and I hadn't opened the shelter yet. Ran right past him. When I came out in the morning he actually snarked me. 'Just trimming the roses, nothing else to do' or something like that. I'd never heard that one before. He continued with the original dialog when I activated him. The stick's line I've heard before.

Can I put his island on a level 75 moon somewhere in crimson fleet space?. Hmmm, maybe an outpost on Londinion Yeah... that's the ticket

It's been a long time since I did a portable instance from scratch. I don't even have any of the tools installed yet. Maybe I should clean up my installation before testing the game. I haven't even done a bash patch yet.

Just made a new attempt to use DynDOLOD, this time version 2.98. Quite different from the version in Meth's guide, but it turned out quite well. Whatever settings used in xLODGen seem to be used in TexGen and DynDOLOD. Not really certain about this yet, but it seemed to work quite well!

Problem is, Nexus only has 3.0 Alpha, wich causes the out of date error, and finding the 2.98 version is quite a problem.

The 3.x version, as far as availalbe, is in alpha, and marked outdated. You have to use the latest 2.xx version, IMHO version 2.98, which worked fine for me (sofar). Still have a few issues, but that could be due to my inexperience. Still learning!

FYI, from the author sheson: DynDOLOD 2.x will not work with game plugins version 1.71 or higher used by runtime version 1.6.1130 or higher. Use DynDOLOD 3 Alpha instead.

I'm having too much fun to deal with Preston right now. Vanilla survival mode really sucks. Don't get me wrong, it works perfectly, it just really sucks. LOL No auto saves, no quick saves, no nothing. Want to save? Sleep in a bed. I just got ambushed walking from Ten Pines to the starlight. I didn't even make it to the station let alone the starlight and poof I woke up in Sanctuary at 0600... again I need a beer

These are the exact ones I tried to use, but DynDOLOD (3.00 Alpha-169) gave me the EXPIRED error. I could not find a solution and used version 2.98 without any problems. I can see my Floating Island from far away and walk towards the island without crashing, which I had earlier.

I got errors with that, even though DynDOLOD 3 Alpha list it was a requirement. You just need the 2 (3 Aplha) and (Resources). If you have the (dll NG) just un-install it and everything should work normal and as intended.

We love choice, and this is definitely a choice to be considered. A little more... weedy, than a lot of grass mods. This has a very natural look. Have a cookie.
