So anyone know anything about Return to Moria on Epic? It apparently released on Tuesday but not seeing anything about it anywhere. I have been following it off and on for a while.

I really don't want to get an epic account but if there is anything that would entice me its this game.

I am confidant it will eventually hit steam at some point so I think I can hold out a year or so if need be.

At the same time, I wouldn't mind playing. It's got to be at least Conan Exiles (Release Version) Level of engagement though. It it can't hit that bar I might as well wait.

Edit: Read a few Reviews. Think I will wait and see until at least near Years end.

Was kind of more hoping someone here had first hand experience to share.

From what I read Combat kind of sucks. But I don't know how that translates into a similar experience such as Conan Exiles (when I last I played the Combat was weak as well) or 7 Days to Die (where the combat is very weak sauce) or even Skyrim which is mediocre at best (only saved by kick ass kill moves).

With me Games are a package deal. This part can suck if this other part is more fun then the suck part.

No biggie. Like I said, I can hold out for a while.

Ah'vrie wishes you well. It is Loredas the 28th of Frostfall and a quiet Predawn here on warm sands. Wage slaves rejoice the weekend has arrived. The blessed moons are gibbous tonight and full tomorrow. The goddess' crazy puppies will be out in force the next few evenings, you have been warned. Come to the inn smelling of wet dog and taste an old cats silver tipped mace. Ah'vrie has many recipes for wolf. Anyway, it is time once again for this one to tend the inn for our most honored guests. Excuse please while the ash pits are emptied and the fires rebuilt. Ah'vrie always likes to start the weekend off with happy fires and a happy fire needs to breath... There' much better no? Now to compost the ash, check the garden, and scrub the kettles while fresh water comes to the boil. The life of an inn keeper is not very glamorous, but it keeps an old cat out of trouble.

Our brew of the day is Istanbul espresso with a hint of crushed Cardamon, and the biscuits are classic oatmeal raisin. Checking the hot sheets we have 44 new with more jiggle than substance as always. Let's see what catches the eye over a fresh cuppa today.

Okay, this one gets a cookie. though having the stone textures also at the base of the stand seems silly.

And that will do for today. The ale was delivered last night on time, and the fresh batch of mead is ready so Ah'vrie hopes you're thirsty. We'll be serving medallions of venison marinated in brandy, and served on a bed of roast diced potatoes and served with an poached egg on top for the early meal. Wyrm and chips for the mid day meal, and ale braised sabrecat with twice baked garlic potatoes, and sauteed carrots for the late meal. As always we'll have a hearty stew simmering all day to warm the bones if you prefer.

The fires are stoked, the kettles scrubbed, and the floors are swept and mopped. Have a seat and the wenches will serve you. Tip them well, Ah'vrie does not pay them nearly enough. We-B-Open!

Skeletons don't fall apart?... That is exactly why I find it so satisfying to botch them in the first place. Watching them fall apart, or explode into bits and pieces. Of course, Valmir does not approve, and he never will. But I don't care! :D

They do take their sweet time getting back up sometimes (Script Lag?). Sometimes you got to prod them.

I once saw that cause of a bug.
There's a rare bug with dead bodies in BGS games that makes them stand and do the standing idle, it can rarely happen on shattered skeleton corpses, which makes them fly together and stand there.
