If you're new to Skyrim, or just having problems, and not sure where to begin ... Just ask. All are welcome, If you can grow pubic hair you're already an old fart to someone.

This is just a place to hang, chat, ask questions, and get abused by forum regulars. Feel free to drop by ... We might not have all the answers, but we probably already know the people that do, and we will be happy to help.

Bashing, spamming, self promoting, advertising, and trolling will simply provide us with target practice and make you look really lame. Please leave politics and religion at the door as well.

Personal attacks against forum guests based on country, race, ethnicity, and lifestyle preferences will not be tollerated in any way ... Period, and we will be enforcing the moderators rules around here ... Period

Keep it clean (mostly) While the game is listed as mature, a lot of the people aren't
Keep it civil (always) arguing a little is fine, just keep it friendly

Move over young ones ... Gramps moved back in.

“Mods, Nexus, good or bad”

Just copy and paste and fluff up a little … nobody can spot the difference … trust me … they never complain when I write about them …
Or … just find an old review from a month ago and use that … they’ll think you’ve put in the time and effort and you get to have a little snooze.

You always manage to remind me after I've jumped in with both feet... oh well. I'll try to do better ;-) More coffee and some food might help.
I have something I just can't figure out! If a courier has something to deliver, he shows up at Goldenhills Plantation for the first time, but after delivery just stays there, day and night, for days on end. I have checked my complete load order with xEdit, but the only mods that change anything related to the courier are USSEP and Indrith's mod. USSEP adds crime factions to the courier. Depending on the hold where they appear? Indrith's mod only changes conditions for the courier's delivery packages: only when the player is not sneaking, not in combat, not sprinting, and only between 6am and 7pm.

I'm cracking my brains over this issue, but can't find a solution. Any ideas?
I've noticed similar behavior in the courier in other delivery locations. seems like there are times, regardless of the location where after delivery he hangs around for a long time. Have i noticed him doing so for several days? Not sure but i doubt it. Then again i sort of just forget about him and move on. Not sure i stay in one place long enough to notice. But now that you mention it I'll be taking a closer look.

Morning Folks, my internet is keeps dropping. I may have issues with the morning post today but bare with me. Looks like a three cuppa morning.
forgot to mention that the guy who told me he is usually in the 200 mbps range also said there are times when he's over 400 (down). Tell you the truth right now i only care about 1. not disconnecting, and 2. at least 50 down, heck i'd even settle for a consistent 30 because i only need this service for approx. 90 days. They tell me in 30-60 days before our fiber optic is up and running, to me that means 90 minimum. But i think i'm good either way because of this T-Mobile find.

Do you have this in other locations without using Goldenhills, or with using Goldenhills?
This is actually something I've always noticed with or w/o Goldenhills. What i can't say for sure is if it's ever been for as long as you experienced. I can remember the courier hanging around for the better part of a day but i never actually tried to see if he stayed around the area longer. Now i will.
Altbert I'd always assumed the Courier just stays where ever he has found you until the next time he is needed. At least with the female courier she eventually returns to the store in Whiterun.
So a simpler way may be to make sure you get a notification (someone you talked to dies ) and arrange where you will be, the next time coming into a small settlement.
So, that means Goldenhills is not the problem, but maybe USSEP can be, as it has scripts attached to determine where the courier shows up to put the courier to a crime faction. Maybe that's the reason the courier sticks to one particular place for so long.

Normally the courier would return to the courier cell after you have left the location where the courier delivered the message, and popup again when he has a new letter. Even returning to Goldenhilss after several ingame days, he is still there. Also I always have to return to Goldenhills to receive a new letter, as he just doesn't show up anywhere else.

Dunno what Goldenhilss is and I'm still on 1.5.97.

That courier chick with the glass sword always hangs out in the last place she gave me a message and sandboxes in the vicinity.

Since I tend to start out in Markarth, it is very common to see her in the markets there for 20 - 30 levels or until she needs to message me again in some far off place.
It's a creation club addon, hence not seen in 1.5.97 and yeah I always thought the courier just starts sandboxing after deliveries. Maybe leave the area for a bit to see if he clears out.
Is it possible to load a save before you got the notification from the courier ? Just to test and see if you can locate him somewhere else that won't bother you?

My issue is that I always have to return to Goldenhills Plantation (Creation Club, I'm on 1.6.640)) to receive any messages. I think I should provide him a tent and bed, but out of sight.

Altbert build him a little Courier Dungeon as he sleeps in the bed he drops into courier hell.
Or was that the courier Cell ?

I'm level 50+ at the moment, testing my Floating Islands mod, but I could test that by buying a Dwarven artifact from a merchant. That's something I have never done before. It should have the courier delivering me a letter from Calcelmo.
