am i wrong in understanding that daedra (not the princes but other daedra) are pretty much not immortal but when killed they go back to oblivion (which ever plane they came from)? just wondering on how much of an understanding of the lore i am understanding (like youtube vids not about the mods or anything like that but the ones that talk about the lore of the testing ground?) feel free to correct me if i am wrong

ESO is 949 years before Skyrim, so there's definitely a plausibility to some powerful (probably both magic wise and in terms of social/political/economic power) Elves still being around - Divayth Fyr is in ESO and Morrowind, in Morrowind he's about four thousand years old, though he's like MEGA powerful, and definitely an outlier. But a thousand or 1500 years old? Probably a few still around.

There's also a popular interpretation that the Vestige can't die, though I'm not sure how really supported by the game that is, but a lot of people figure they're still around.

Oh and yes, Daedra can't die properly, you can "kill" their form on Nirn (the mortal plane sort of thing) but it really just sends them back. From my understanding anyway.

Yeah, they are immortal and don't age, since they are in essence spirits rather than mortal.

According to ESO you can destroy them by rearranging reality so they never existed. One of the Daedra who helps you and turns on Molag Bal does so because one of his favored Leutenants destroyed her clan.... but I'm not sure how much of that has been accepted into the lore.

Otherwise the live forever.

Officially, from what I know, ESO is somewhere between canon and canon-plausible, but a lot of the fandom don't agree.
gnewna 11 sierpnia 2020 o 4:00
Personally I view it as canon and the fact that some stuff may be inconsistent is not an issue because *all* the games have inconsistencies, I believe. Some of which can be explained away ('unreliable narrator', 'Talos changed it so Cyrodiil has ALWAYS been like this but kinda after Morrowind' etc) and some could be but isn't really (like I guess Immortal Blood could be classed as unreliable narrator about the Volkihar but there's not much really good support for that, the author has no reason to hide the truth about another clan but tell the truth about his own)
Avrie 11 sierpnia 2020 o 5:08
Meh, the problem with canon is Todd changes it with every game. At some point I finally gave up and accepted that Nirn is a multiverse with overlapping realities. The only thing known for certain is that FO76 sucks in all of them :steammocking: LOL

Goooooood Morning Tamriel!

Avrie wishes you well. It is Tirdas the 11th of Last Seed and another sticky predawn here on warm sands. The blessed moons have set and the paths are closed. Time for this old cat to once again ready the inn for our honored guests. Excuse please while Avrie stokes the fires and draws fresh water for the kettles. Brew of the day is Inspirazione a Venezia.

Checking the hot sheets with a fresh cuppa we have 27 new. Jiggles, patches, and pointy sticks of course. Let's see if anything catches the eyes of an old cat this morning...

TheBlenderAnimator is still trying to make Skyrim blurry and out of focus, even in the menus

WickWah released Green Grass For Whiterun
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/39233
Not the first, and the textures look over saturated.

While most longtime hardcore player are looking to add scarcity to the game, xWilburCobbx has resurrected an old idea. throw money at a property and get a rental income. Old news, there were a couple of mods that did this in oldrim. Avrie is sure Steve will mention them, it was never an interest for this old cat even in oldrim
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/39259

AndrealphusVIII released Hunters Dialogue Edit
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/39245
resurrects some vanilla dialog so you can question hunters for a permit. They will attack if you do. Inspired by Hunting Requires Permit mod from LE.

Dlizzio fixed a few minor mesh and material issues not fixed by other mods. Have a cookie

Dlizzio's Mesh Fixes
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/39260

And finally twizzOr released Better Balustrades for Windhelm
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/39126
Avrie grabbed the iron version. The vanilla textures have always been an eye bleeder 1 cookie

And that's it for today. L42ph released Skill Training Purchase Rights as a first mod ... it doesn't do anything at all of any use, but if you read the note it will tell you how many times you trained at that level. I guess clicking on a trainer to see was too adult a concept... Welcome to the community anyway, no cookie though

The fires are stoked, the kettles scrubbed, and the floors are swept. Have a seat by the fires and warm your bones. We-B-Open! :steammocking:

Went to Whiterun no problem, want to rent a room at the bannered Mare ... I come in Uthgerd went berserk ... ok went to dragonsreach no hostilities from anyone next thing Delphine wants my hide.

Punched a guard paid the fine, book gone everyone was peaceful ... WTF

Uthgerd has always been buggy. I've been attacked by her more than once for no reason at all and had to either kill her or reload the game and she was fine. I have no idea what the trigger was but I doubt the book had to do with it ... could be wrong though. If Bad gremlins set ownership of the book it wouldn't say take. And if no one in Riverwood was screaming "stop thief"...

Nice trick punching the guard though ... I have to remember that one. I always just reloaded the last entering Whiterun save.

I had Delphine attack me for no reason in the last build when I entered the inn. But that was the only time it's happened. Uthgerd has gone wacko in quite a few of my games even in oldrim. I'm sure it has something to do with a glitch in the crime system, just no idea what.

I left a mod out of my reviews this morning

Hjaalmarch Hole Player Home by Thog
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/39249
I figure I should actually mention it because for some reason you get overrun with Chickens and I figure Charles will want it for his guide :steammocking: LOL This is from the same guy that release the cartoon bow and sword and I don't usually post goof mods but...

Not true, there is one weird universe were FO76 is so bad it's good, it has strong overtures of the outer planets....only accidently.....:steamsalty:

More accurately there USED to be such an universe until I smote it for its sheer implausiblity.

Pink cloud spewing mushroom folk who just happen to look like bovine boy band cosplayers is perfectly fine, but even I draw the line at FO(76) being anything other than a hot mess. 😇
