Glad to see that you got the New computer my friend have fun
Avrie wishes you well. It's Loredas the 15th of Sun's Dawn and another brisk predawn here on warm sands. Wage slaves rejoice the weekend is upon us, and it's time to spruce up the inn again. Excuse please while Avrie empties the ash pits and scrubs the kettles. Time to put some fresh water to the boil...
Avrie is celebrating so the Brew of the day is Maluka Mu Zimbabwe, and the biscuits are ginger bread. Checking the hot sheets we have 11 new. Bimbettes, accessories, and a few patches covered. Let's see what catches the eye this morning...
Rallyeator released Rally's Hooks and Saws
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/32652
Rallyeator showed some love to a little useless clutter ... much improved over vanilla, available in a carved , and rusty version as well. 1 cookie
SavrenX Lux Weapons
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/32667
It looks like SavrenX is compiling his upgraded weapon textures into an all in one. So far this mod includes only shiny versions of the staff of Magnus, and several of the Daedric artifacts. The upscaled textures and normal maps look great, Avrie is not sure about the shiny meshes though... it is a matter of taste. More weapons will be added to the mod so call it a WIP for now.
And we'll finish up with RD's Skyrim Scavenger Hunt by RetroDaddy
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/32661
Yet another treasure hunt mod from this author... at least this time they aren't god weapons. chase notes all over the map to unlock caches of weapons and armor pieces ... all based on vanilla armor and weapons but a little more powerful. This could be a fun waste of time if you get bored. 1 cookie for not including totally OP crap again
And that's about it ... the fires are stoked, the kettles scrubbed, and the floors are swept and mopped. Avrie has a lot of work ahead of him today ... Time for a fresh cuppa. Have a great weekend all ... We-B-Open!
Well I did spring for one additional year of warranty support, and I invoked "One drive" as a real time backup system. But the problem with insurance (Other than if I could get away with calling it a business machine and adding it to my business insurance) Would be that they don't normally cover blatant stupidity ... which is why I'm in this predicament LOL
I, and many others, would be willing to vouch for you ... if that helps.
At least if you did get yourself a desktop this time it will be far less likely that drinks get spilled over it. lol
It's almost ironic that the lappy got destroyed by a few drips of tea... lessons learned. The new tower is under the desk LOL
edit ... Me B Happy!!! my hybrid drive was recognized without issues. Which means I recovered all of my current builds and mods. Now i have an interest in redoing my game drive and getting it off C:
It is still a requirement for the mod. So if you have the original version Delete it and get the new version and also go and get the Are you there mod. along with the updated dll that is linked in the posted section of Are you there.
Previously, I had my desktop situated under my desk as you mentioned. Now, I have it sitting above 'ground' adjacent to my desk on a set of draws also designed to go under the desk (small table would also work). This is because it gathers a lot less dust and, also by not being underneath the table top, the increase in entropy is also noticeably less.
As I said may be of use.
Unfortunately one of the down sides to living in the desert is the dust. You have no idea what this flour sand is like until you have to clean it LOL. good idea to get it off the floor. I have a "L" shaped desk and the perfect place for this unit is in the corner, so maybe a short stand would work... Thanks, I'll look into a stand
@Gerdruids
Good info ... I'll remember that when I can finally start downloading stuff again.
Just finished getting the final hardware installed and closed the covers. Managed a really clean mount for the hybrid drive with a single tie wrap and both drive bays are still free
