Finally here's a screenshot. I had to upload the screenshot as artwork, as I just couldn't find another way.

I think you got it friends only.

No BOS (nothing of the kind) and no dead shrub removers. Maybe dead shrub replacers? I don't know if I have any.

Nope doesn't work. Open it up under profile>content>click screenshot>copy link top left and paste here.
Sorry ISO, didn't make the "artwork" public, just friends only. Not really art work, isn't it?

While you're checking, the next step is definitely more informative console. That's how I identified the purple ash. It would help tremendously if you knew the mesh, and the last mod to change it.

That's not the problem. I have more informative console and know the Ref and Base IDs. I have to figure out which mod is placing so many shields in the marshes, when I have seen none of those shields in the marshes in the 13+ years I'm playing Skyrim.

It looks like part of the grass is missing. All those blotches seem to have the tall dead seed grass in the middle.

I will look into that tomorrow. It's already way past my bedtime. If I disable one or more of those "shields" I may see what's popping up instead.

Xelzaz - Custom Fully Voiced Argonian Telvanni Follower - have fresh update 1.13, big one !

Version 1.13.0
Xelzaz Version 1.13.0 - Third Anniversary Update
In celebration of three years of Xelzaz being released I am releasing Xelzaz version 1.13.0! The update's primary focus has been on minor tweaks and additions to allow for a more well rounded experience of Xelzaz. The update also features two whole new quests, from braving the frozen wastes of Skyrim looking for an elusive plant, to giving Xelzaz some shiny new upgraded armor! You may also learn more about Xelzaz's past and his interactions with House Telvanni. Special thanks to Lirinden and jwisser for lending their voices to the update, and of course as always northwindblue for their wonderful models!
The update brings Xelzaz's unique line count to ~8350. Over 200 existing lines were revoiced, making the total amount of "fresh" lines ~450.
Also important to note: If updating to 1.13.0 while you are using the Sirenroot patch, please also update that to version 1.0.2 for compatibility with 1.13.0!
Bug Fixes
- Fixed the scripting on Roovi's alias, the old version of the script was made for an ObjectReference rather than a ReferenceAlias. This would cause the script not to function in certain instances.
- Marked all the objects placed in Honeystrand Cave that are part of "The Good Stuff" quest to not havok settle. Originally only the honey was marked as such, but apparently any objects nearby that do havok settle will cause a havok settling chain effect.
- Fixed some typos.
- Bigpig will now lose his essential status when relevant for the Volkihar Commentary.
- Changed Xelzaz recalling his daggers to only happen if the player isn't "sitting", rather than that they aren't using a base game enchanting table or grindstone. This means using custom enchanting tables or grindstones will no longer cause him to recall them while you are using them.
- Made it so that if Xelzaz is meant to be disabled, I.E. he left you at the gate, he will disable himself once again should he have been enabled.
- Completely reworked the item tracking scripts for the Mead quest and Crimson Nirnroot quest to prevent stack dumps.
Additions
- Added patchless compatibility with SunHelm for Xelzaz's food and drink.
- Xelzaz can now be asked for a small treat if he is in his 'sit down with a player' package.
- Added more combat lines.
- Added more greet lines.
- Added failsafe timers to Xelzaz's night walk, in case he would get stuck for some reason.
Spells
- Added 'Conjure Skeleton Champion' (from Necromantic Grimoire CC) to the list of spells you can teach Xelzaz. (Patchlessly)
- Added 'Conjure Skeleton Minion' (from Necromantic Grimoire CC) to the list of spells Xelzaz knows by default. (Patchlessly)
- Added 'Choking Grasp' (From Arcane Accessories CC) to the list of spells you can teach Xelzaz. (Patchlessly)
Quests
- Added a new quest to upgrade Xelzaz's armor, 'Quid Pro Quo'. To start this quest simply finish 'A Lawman's Ambition' and get 25+ disposition with Xelzaz.
- Added a new quest in a series of quests called 'Field Research'. To start this new quest revolving around a new unique plant, ask Xelzaz if there is anything he'd like to see in Skyrim.
Quest Commentary
- Added more lines to Xelzaz's Imperial Legion commentary. He now has commentary up to and including the Battle of Whiterun.
- Added more lines to Xelzaz's Blessings of Nature commentary.
- Added patchless compatibility with JaySerpa's 'House of Horrors - Quest Expansion' mod.
Changes
- Revoiced quite a few old lines
- Adjusted conditions for random greet lines for Xelzaz's interactions, Xelzaz and those he interacts with will now no longer exhaust all their comments about each other before giving their usual random hellos. (As for right now each hello has a 7% chance, this can in the future likely be tweaked for those followers who have more or less interactions with Xelzaz)
- Xelzaz's 'sit with player' package can no longer be active while he is waiting.
- Changed conditions for certain lines to make sure they only play in Skyrim.
- Adjusted the conditions for certain random idle lines.
- Xelzaz's guar is now killable after Xelzaz is dead.
Xelzaz Sirenroot 1.0.2
Only use with Xelzaz 1.13.0 or newer.
Bug Fixes
- Altered the catch up script slightly.
- Fixed Roovi conditions to be in line with core version 1.13.0.

I Xelzaz already bathing mod aware? I grew tired of him constantly yapping at me, while I was washing dirt off in stream.

Yeah, sounds like nitpicking. However, keep in mind that I am often camping and jumping in to sea, lakes or streams. Someone constantly yelling me at it gets old pretty fast.

Otherwise than that, Xelzaz is a cool follower and I sort of liked having him around. I didn't get too far with him (for reasons explained above), but what I saw was very well done follower, who has tons of interactions with other characters.

Well worth trying, if bathing mods are not your thing, or if you are always washing yourself in isolated KiC (or similar) cell.

I'm not sure there's any way for him to be bathing mod aware, I'd probably just tell him to wait at camp and go wash out of earshot tbh

my take would be that the sprite in question has ENB complex shaders but you don't use their complex grass feature.

or it is a community shader thing?

If you want to explore the grass meshes, I "cheat" by going into TexGen and use the "preview" there to find back the grass. Then a bit nifskoping ...

Morning *waves* One sec while I remove the toothpick keeping my eye open... That's better, the second cuppa is starting to work it's magic. 57 mew mods, This will take a little while...

I may want to pick your brain on that one. There's something I've never done, but sounds
like it could be useful.
Avrie 2 de fev. às 4:13
Okay, third cuppa seems to be doing the trick. I'm almost awake now LOL.

I'm trying to decide if I want to back out of the texture swaps I made to fix the 'purple ash' The consensus has been I was missing patches. I just have to determine if I really want to spend another entire day stepping back into Atlantean... Not really feeling it today.

Time to wake the cat, but first... a little repost from our Discord. Thanks Chef... Wes Johnson is on the mend... Thought I'd share.

I am using Community Shaders, not ENB. But, why all the shields and sound output models from leveled lists (Skyrim.esm) spread all over Morthal and the marsh.
Avrie 2 de fev. às 4:29
CS is definitely still an early work in progress Altbert. You may be running into bits and bobs missing for a while yet unfortunately.

I wouldn't think of it as 'spread all over' It's one grass texture that is all over the marsh. Focus on your grass mods and understand you may be forced to choose alternates that work better with CS. It's similar to what I'm dealing with using Atlantean, and parallax terrain blending. I haven't even dealt with ice and snow yet, but I had whole fields of purple ash, and so far the fix was to switch to remove all terrain textures from Wiz. I'm not happy about it either. I don't like the texture set I'm using now... But no purple.

perhaps A bit of zen...
