lol Steve. Just a little story.
So I fixed a few armor mods, grabbed a few, broke the 1000 mark with mods and was testing stuff in Whiterun watching my FPS drop into the low 20s thinking I need to re-run Tex and DynDo again.
Wife comes over and said that's a cute outfit can I show you one better. I close out the game and she brings up Macys and somehow fills my accounts shopping cart with her wish list and gives me that look. I was like sure fine but that is a tad more than one.
She noted how warm my little corner was where I have my pc smushed onto a bistro table. Then she proceeded to check the new electrical bill and gasped at the amount. It still amazes me how much heat a desktop puts out when one is drawing over 800 amps of power while struggling with frame rates for an old game.

Our brew of the day is Indonesia, and the biscuits are Tate's Ginger Zingers. Checking the hot sheets we have 33 new mods with the usual eclectic mix of jiggles, patches, and goofs. Let's see what catches an old cat's eye over a fresh cuppa or two.

A reshade preset, and a camera preset. The preset is interesting. It leans very much toward the blues while also desaturating the world in general. Looks very Brrr!. Not for old cats, but thanks. We love choice.

Well done, and pretty in a fantasy sort of way. Makes use of different versions of the same asset using SPID in a very creative way. Most of the flowers are Mari, Cathedral, and Eeks. Why not. This one gets a cookie.

While it's well known the old cat will usually shy away from major magic overhauls, THIS, is a perfect Novice illusion spell, and could have been vanilla. It complements the Aural whisper shout in that you can use it to lead the enemy where you want them to go. Perfect for Stealth / thief builds. This one gets a cookie as well. Nicely done. Downloaded

The old cat is not so thrilled with this one. Game balance is a very tricky thing to get correct. While the old cat completely agrees that paralysis could have been, and possibly should have been an illusion spell to begin with. You're also gutting one of the few good higher level alteration spells. Logic and convenience are not always the best guides... Just saying. Your game your way, but not for old cats.

Feel the burn: When a vampire burns in the daylight they will now stagger in pain and cry out. If the vampire is seen by anyone while on fire, they will be attacked and identified as a blood sucker.

Vampire Lord and Lady - Revamped: This is a new re-mesh of the Vampire Lord form which includes several armor options.

Obviously Vampired themed tweaks. While Feel the burn would be considered 'historically accurate' to all the novels and movies. It's going to make it very hard to complete Dawnguard. Serana is not going to be very happy either. The new meshes however do a nice job correcting some weirdness in the vanilla meshes like angular belly bulges and the like. Those are worth a look. We'll call that a 'fix' Thanks. have a blood cookie. Serana hates you.

And that will do for today. The fires are stoked, the kettles scrubbed, and the floors are swept. Have a seat by the fires and warm your bones. We-B-Open!

You all know the saying, break the game and then fix it with mods? I don't think mods are going to fix this............ LOL

I don't know what's gone on here. Main menu has no background "dragon" or smoke, though buttons and menu's work. Mods like SKSE, TDM and Obis etc.. all work, and none give any errors. (headtracking was still fully active, despite the uhhh.. "injuries")
GetSKSEversion gives the correct output in the console, so even that's functioning..........

Game resides on external, and game was working just a few days ago. Vortex claims there's nothing wrong and i've purged and redeployed to make sure.
None of the logging files (of the various mods i use) suggest anything is amiss, so they clearly "see" the game is complete...

What i did notice was all the base Skyrim bsa's were labelled with a date of midnight 2008, which (to me) suggests they're all corrupt. Deleted all and redownloading now, then i'll deploy with Vortex again and see what happens....

Worst case, i wipe the entire game, and re-install all my mods into a new instance.
Oh well!

So it has been confirmed that 6.7.3 is missing scripts for the followup quest from the scavenger hunt. So people who have been slamming your heads against the wall trying to figure out how to trigger it, sorry to say but MO2 was being a little ♥♥♥♥♥ and put the scripts in the wrong folder when I was working on it and they didn't get packed up, so it's not your faults 😛 next update will be coming today and will include the missing scripts.

I would look at shopping like when were modding Skyrim and say just one more mod and 30 plus mods later were adding more.

Well now to more two more mods to add to the group today I see. Verdant Old Hroldan and tirol211 released Illusion - Distract both look interesting and I will try them out in a test game and see what I think about them.

You're just overwriting the missing scripts, that's not save breaking DM. You could probably safely update if that's all that's changed. I'd back up first obviously.

I just completed xLodGen succesfully, but TexGen gives me issues. The dialogue for the settings is extremely small (I nearly can read it) but the Start button is missing. Does anyone know of a solution?
