If you're new to Skyrim, or just having problems, and not sure where to begin ... Just ask. All are welcome, If you can grow pubic hair you're already an old fart to someone.

This is just a place to hang, chat, ask questions, and get abused by forum regulars. Feel free to drop by ... We might not have all the answers, but we probably already know the people that do, and we will be happy to help.

Bashing, spamming, self promoting, advertising, and trolling will simply provide us with target practice and make you look really lame. Please leave politics and religion at the door as well.

Personal attacks against forum guests based on country, race, ethnicity, and lifestyle preferences will not be tollerated in any way ... Period, and we will be enforcing the moderators rules around here ... Period

Keep it clean (mostly) While the game is listed as mature, a lot of the people aren't
Keep it civil (always) arguing a little is fine, just keep it friendly

Move over young ones ... Gramps moved back in.

Meant only time I would recommend a tin hat... reflective. Hence, the sarcasm. I have to watch more British comedies because I am missing something.

Ohhhhhh. Sorry, it's the heat, brain is soup!

@Gnewna - the pink hair is spooky. My Luvvie was 'naturally' pink until she became too ill to continue dyeing it two years ago. When I say 'natural' I mean she'd had pink hair for about twenty years straight - was actually given a disclaimer by Ikea to allow her to continue being pink when they employed her which was unheard of before.

I desperately wish her health would improve for long enough for her to go pink again - she doesn't feel herself unless she's pink and I know it would boost her recovery further:)

Humidity would be nice to know, Avrie, as I suspect some of the difference in comfort (regardless of degree F to C confusion) is humidity. 26 degrees Celsius in England (anywhere really) with a really high humidity would be uncomfortable for some. Dropping that humidity even at 40 C seems crucial. So, any humidity stats?

I had to look it up on accuweather ... 4% right now. it's only about 35.5c atm ... just got back froom my morning bicycle ride.

Humidity here - Coventry UK - is currently 58%. A considerable difference and major factor in ability to keep cool.

Oh, I know what you mean - I'm not really well enough for it (got roots an inch and a half long) but I was back to boring mousy brown for a year or so and it was miserable!

Might it be worth seeing if there's any local hairdressers who can do a house call to bleach it? The pink part isn't too onerous once you've got a pale base, depending how long her hair is, you could probably do that bit for her maybe? Even if she ends up with acres of roots like I've got, it might cheer her up a bit? Feel free to ignore if no use, though!

57% humidity in That London. Yuck.

Her daughter - lives with us - is a fully qualified hairdresser and always ready to do her mum's hair at the drop of a hat. But when Luvvie feels well enough, she always focuses her energy towards others - the kids issues at work or college, her carers needing a chat about their problems, the housework ffs - anything but herself. I tell her she's too selfless for her own good and she just laughs at me :)

She won't let me do it for her - says I'm too ill. Pfff - I'm still her primary carer. But I don't have any say :)

Ah, yes, we do get quite stubborn, huh? ;)

She claims I'm the stubborn one - my training tells me that's deflection, so I don't take it seriously lol.
But there is definately no way to move the woman once she's made her mind up :)

I have observed that many of my fellow spoonies (ppl with bad chronic illness) have this personality trait, also a tendency to push ourselves way too far, until basically we get too ill to do that any more.

Could not agree more. She spent years as a devoted single mum to two - whilst working up to three separate jobs and maintaining mortgage to boot. Did her in eventually. :(

But only superheroes can save the world without casualties

Yes, that does seem to be the crucial factor for comfort. Which is why I wished humidity stats.

We call that "doing what you have to do". It so often hurts.
