Call dragon shout - He never lands, can't mount

As the title says. Am i supposed to use dragonrend on my own, supposedly loyal dragon?
I completed the main quest obviously and had a chat with both of them on top of the mountain.
Now He just flies above me near whiterun and will never land.

OH GREAT. Now this is frustrating dude. Main story was absolutely terrible, ending was underwhelming. I was just happy that i'll be able to replay my favorite Dawnguard while being able to ride a dragon, and then carry on to Dragonborn......

Dragonrend just forces a dragon to land so you can attack it with melee without having to wait until its health bar is halfway. It still remains hostile.

Dragonborn is what you want if you want to tame and ride a dragon.

(As an aside, I agree the main quest is one of the worst questlines ever)

Dragonborn DLC ends rather quickly (as far as the main quest goes) but it is not boring unlike the Skyrim main questline.

depedning on choice you make you can have a more firendly aprouch to the skal
or you can side fully with hormeus mora and twist them with lies and deception!
the only thing you can change is how you aproach it and how you interact with them poeple but the outcome is set by this scripted fate
if friendly aproach to skal you can Merry Frea if deciving skal you can NOT merry her!
More friendly to Skal causes Hormeus Mora spawn more agressive Enemies in solstheim
friendly to Mora make you with a more dominational aproach but gives less agressive enemies in solsheim.
for bend will one word time animals 2 word on humans and undead 3 words dragons giants and trolls if shouted the become friendly and calm for bend will duration!

yeah whatever that guy above me was saying is wrong. you can't "Merry" Frea, from what I've heard/understand, it's kinda like why you can't marry serana?
