Looking for a certain console command
Yeah, I'm just looking for a command that allows me to make an exact duplicate of an NPC by selecting it. I want to duplicate some NPCs just so I can make the battle of whiterun more epic without having the whiterun guards that add bounty and have a lot of health. If anyone knows a command for something like that, I would like to have it, but it is not that important. By the way, I know player.placeatme, and that is not the command I want. I just want to find the BaseID. Thanks.

player.placeatme <BaseID> <#>

1,493 seconds Google search. I see how this is such a huge task to do ...

I know that command, but I'm looking for one that can make an exact duplicate. There are many codes for whiterun guards and I just want to find out the one that is used is the Battle of Whiterun.

This IS the code for an exact duplicate. It duplicates exactly the ID you choose.
So there's that.

As I've already said, I want to duplicate an NPC. That NPC already exists, and has many BaseIDs, so how do I find the BaseID for the exact whiterun guard that is in the battle of whiterun? That is what I'm trying to ask.

CLICK on him. You really didn't know how to get the ID of something?
TotallyCaesar Dec 6, 2016 @ 7:53pm
I was under the impression that the id you get when you click was different from the BaseID. I'll try it though. [Edit] I tried it, it said compiled script not saved, I tried it with a number at the end, same thing, tried respelling the command, didn't work, tried typing the id with the zeros, didn't work.

Okay, now you make me wonder ... let me check that, too ...

The ID you get when you click on an NPC is the RefID and it can't be used with the placeatme command. Only a BaseID can be used with the placeatme command. The BaseID is what you get when you search for an NPC using the help command. For example: help "Whiterun Guard" will give you a list of all Whiterun guard NPC BaseIDs that can be used with the placeatme command.

I looked at a guide and it didn't have the command I'm looking for. Basically, I'm looking for a command that is the opposite of the prid command. prid is a command that lets you select an npc/item by using the base code. prid <BaseID> and then it selects their reference ID. I want the opposite of that.

No, what he's asking is difficult. He's asking for the same actor, in the same current state. Sorry I don't have an answer for you, dude. There's probably no google for it. Try civil war or something similar. Figuring out how to convert those mods to SSE is probably easier than finding the console command you're looking for. In fact, I guarantee it.

^these stormcloak ids might be from a mod.
when it comes to creating your own miny battles, you should create a bat file to implement multiple command lines at once instead of one at a time. Also if your pc is good enough id recommend this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50823/? this will increase the ai limit from 20 to 120. vanilla skyrim only allows for 20 active npcs at a time which is why in large scenarios it seems like some npcs just stand there doing nothing, obviously this will cost performance so i wouldnt download if it doesnt recommend high-ultra settings for your machine. even though its for oldrim i tested it and it works perfect, just manually install.

you guys must be doing something wrong, I just tried this in original real quick (should be the same for SE?) and all I had to do was player.placeatme <baseID> and I got a 2nd serana. are you SURE you're using the baseID, not the refID?
JACKSin Dec 6, 2016 @ 10:01pm
Stormcloak IDs are too short to be from a mod.

Nobody is trying to spawn a second Serana.
