now there are mods that help with this a grate deal like a mod Called blood moon rising. Even than you are still weaker with the mods it's just that the gap is not as wide but only of you know what you are doing in building your toon.
other words unless you are doing it for roll playing reasons for just to have fun it's not worth it to be a vampire / wolf
They have no armor but can fly fast to get out of bad situations and float above/across water.
Once you activate the perks you can also paralyze, turn into bats or smoke, summon gargoyles or draw people towards you and choke them. Amongst other things.
How much of an advantage do you need?
Sorry to be rude but anyone who says you need a mod is just lazy.
You can kill legendary dragons on legendary difficulty as a vampire with just the life drain spell, which you get as the default right hand spell from the start.
It will just take a while, so don't get breathed on or bitten.
...and it's the best way to explore the seas and waterways by miles.
Yeah like let me guess 4hours for one dragon? I tried all that on legendary with werwolf AND vampire and it its, simple as it is, impossible.
Impossible? No, annoying as hell yes. You defintely need all the perk points unlocked and never feed so you can be more powerful.
I honestly liked Werewolf form better myself.
