Blood On the Ice bug [SOLVED]

So, the guard in Windhelm approached me to start the quest Blood On the Ice, and now that I need to get assistance from Jorleif, there appears to be no dialogue option to complete it. The only option I haven't selected is buying a house in the city for 12k gold, but I don't want to do that lol

I also encountered a bug with this quest where I never actually acquired the Necromancer's Amulet but was still able to complete the entire questchain.

Of course, without the amulet as a reward.

Not that big of a letdown, as I tend to play a conjuring swordmage (so the stamina debuff hurts a lot), but it kind of was a letdown after all that work.

Yeah, I never saw any dialogue to get assistance from him, just go to where you found the body and do some detective work, you don't have to talk to Jorleif other than getting permission from him to investigate to finish the quest.

Yeah I guess that was optional. I was able to complete the quest normally without commands or anything.
