Glitch with Vampire Lord

The main issue now is that I cannot revert back to human form. It's bizarre because the game thinks I've already reverted back to human because I can interact with all NPC's, pick up items, etc. However, I can't access my inventory because the game still thinks I'm a vampire and all I can do is view the Vampire Perks skill tree. I no longer see my HP bar, my Magicka bar, and my stamina bar.

Unfortunately, I can't reload an older save file because my autosaves overwrote them. I also do NOT have any mods.

I've tried some console commands, but no luck.

Has anyone encountered this and found a solution? I've scoured multiple forums, but didn't find any answers.

Try putting in player.setrace (Your player's race)racevampire. I am a vampire Breton so I would insert player.setrace bretonracevampire to return to my normal form. I found this on an older discussion have you tried that.

PC games f**k up all the time, so remember to do it every time something important happens.

It looks like I'm still invincible and unable to transform any more, but at least my game is playable now.

The code above helped me at least revert back to human form.. but I ended up doing a real save. In the past I was relying on quick save, but I think I may need to start using the manual save more often.

So, it looks like the problem is actually a simple one. You can't access the menu to change your power, and the Vampire Lord abilities put Bats power on the button used to become the Vampire Lord.

Enter menu and you go directly to Vampire Perk tree

Left shoulder is sprint or fly fast
Right is Bat form(rush)
LeftThumb Click is Fly+Magic/Foot+Melee
RightThumb Click nothing iirc
Left and right trigger is left and right attack, magic or melee

There's no option to revert form that I found. I just went back to the Volhikar save after exiting the soul cairn. Only lost 15 minutes. Will get over it, and won't use the power again. Hopefully get rid of the Vampire curse asap anyway.

Just did a quick check. Putting the Vampire Lord power on your favorites allows you to access Revert Form through there.

However, it just glitches your character to have the weapons on the feet, (following you around on the ground), the Vampire Lord form still in place with some of the abilities, and you end up with whatever spell was in your hands available. Partial reversion, then back. And no ability to interact with anything.

Good stuff. At least with Beast Form you just revert naturally, and I think that's part of the problem. Whatever script they fire off for that does not exist for Vampire, and the revert power is messed up on top of being inaccessible if you don't favorite it. Probably they just forgot about it.

I also had a problem with this and this solution worked for me. Although i got unwanted immortality where my HP, Magicka and Stamina would not show up and they would also not degrade, so i tried the command player.recycleactor and it worked for me. Hope it helps someone else!

I know this comment is from a little over 2 years ago and idk if you'll even see this, but you just saved me from having to go back six (real life) days in my save file (and I have been playing a lot in that time so that's huge)! Thank you so much!!! :D

Revert form can be found under the favorites menu while in vampire lord form.
