Hi, you need to have smithing lvl 50 and advanced armors to make it bro.

It's my favourite armour :)

Advanced armors is foe "CREATING" the nordic armor. I want to improve the Nordic I am wearing and I think if I level up I can improve it onmce each level I level up. Is this correct?

you need the Perk to improve also

So I am right? That means you can only improve armor or weapons only after you level up? Does that mean you can do one armor improvement and one weapon improvement each time you level up?

Advanced Armors is the Perk. It is good because it boosts the upgrade of the armour. The link I gave you explains everything. Once you reach higher tiers of smithing you can improve the armour more. Keep unlocking the armours as you go along. It's a noble hobby and one I enjoy fully :)

No, the higher your Smithing skill, the more you can improve armor/weapons. BUT, you must have the specific PERK to improve types of armor/weapons. You start game able to improve Leather and Iron, other than those, you need the Smithing Perks

Advanced Armor allows you to create and improve Nordic weapons and armour. It allows you to improve them to Legendary status from level 91 (rather than level 168)
The perk just boosts the improvement. You need it to CRAFT the items but you don't actually need the perk to IMPROVE the items. That is your smithing skill level that determines that.

Say, if you obtain some Nordic Carved armour from chests (once you hit the required level to unlock it dropping), you can improve it.

Now I'm really confused so here is what I did

1. lev. 49 NA is epic had a quicksilver ingot the game said "you lack the skill"
2. level up to 50 it says the same thing
3. Keep in mind I have the adv. armors perk so whjat is going on?

You need more smithing skill to raise the quality above Epic to Legendary. I dont know exactly how much more skill. (75 maybe?)
Actually the specific perk allows you to improve that armour type by double, you can improve any armour type, but the advance armour smithing perk allows you to double the improvement (as well as craft it).

Thanks dude! I understand noow. As a side point in all the 2K+ hrs. I spent playing old Skyrim the more I did not like it. The real reason I think as I play SSE was that I did not have a good idea of how the game works, which with help from you and others on the forum have made me see therror of my ways.
Make no misstake it still is a game with a lot of problems in play but still is a great game even with broken quests, bugs and errors.

OK if I read the chart right 50 lev. in smithing allows me to CREATE nordic armor but I need to obtain lev. 70 to improve it , ..Right?

Two options:
option one, level smithing up to level 70 to be able to improve it.
option two, take the perk and be able to improve it straight away, and improve it even more when you get smithing up to level 70.
