That old Blackreach bug
I'm not one to moan, and to be quite honest I have been enjoying playing Skyrim SE (I have it installed on my newer laptop, while my older one has my original Skyrim all modded to the hilt, so I don't feel like I'm losing out there). I am also reluctant to join the horde of complainers, many of whom have been childishly abusive towards the developers.

However...

My issue is that the most glaring bug (imho), that you get stuck in a loop upon trying to exit Blackreach via the Great Lift at Alfhand, is still present. Yup, I can use the console to get myself over to Riften or Riverwood instead, but it seems to me this should be a priority for future bugfixes.

Cheers - LPtD

Do you use the Unofficial Patch mod?

I do have it installed for my original copy of Skyrim, but I have no mods installed at all for SE at the moment. You are right that this would solve my problem, but it just seems a shame that something so glaring has not been fixed by the developers - and there was me promising myself I woudn't jump on the complaints bandwagon...sigh. Thanks for replying :)

The developers, (Bethesda), stated clearly that there were no bugfixes or additional content in this version.

I am disappointed as well, but understanding of their goals.

Fair enough :) On the plus side, the game is looking gorgeous and it is quite nice to have another go at earning the Steam achievements. Next step after this play-through will be to install the Unofficial Patch and then scout around for mods I haven't tried yet - I think I have around 70 or so active on my original version.
