Wrong vampire, this is a random encounter vampire!

Oddly enough, I believe I've only finished Dawnguard once!

I've seen vampires freaking out and running away from...something before. Free kill lol.

I've also seen vigilants of stendarr chase a vampire into a house and kill it, and then just take a seat and chill.

There are several 'friendly' vampires in the game. Yours is probably just glitched out seeing it is a random.

I have seen this same non-hostile vampire too. I came across it near Winterhold. It was basically standing in the snow and I remember walking up to it and realising it was a vampire and then being puzzled as to why it was non-hostile.

I assumed one of my mods created it.

I could not interact with it and I can remember being hesitant about it as I was not sure if it was some kind of quest vampire or something - I think in the end I just killed it and looted it.
