USLEEP Removed Hidden Chests
Is there a mod that brings back the hidden loot chests that USLEEP removed?

I think they were just moved to different locaton ie provided the loot for quests in the area.

Yeah , for example the Dawnstar chest being moved further beneath the ground. So I guess there's no mod that brings them back up? I like the idea of finding secret chests because it's like I found hidden treasure or a game secret, it's just exciting and hard to explain.

They are not "hidden chests", they are the merchant inventory chests and, as such, are not supposed to be accessed by the player. They are not something that is supposed to "be in the game" - they are game mechanic items (much like the console is not a gameplay aid, but a developer's tool - even though it can be used in the game).

Oh yes, I am aware that they are actually the merchant's inventory, I just call them hidden because technically, they are hidden, whereas they're invisible and one would be very lucky to have discovered it for the first time ever without any help. I assume there's no real answer to my question because I've googled up any possible mods that bring the chests back, but to no avail. Therefore, this thread will be deleted soon.

Ok, some people actually thing that they are something to be found in the game.

Threads have to be deleted before, I think, they reach 10 posts - after that, they cannot be.

Anyway, good to see you in the forum! Hope game and life are going well (sometimes it hard to tell which is more of a game).

They are technically exploits but they are intended exploits left in by the devs of the game. If you pay attention, every other merchant chest that can NOT be accessed is marked as stealing. The only ones that are not are the chests that the devs KNEW you could access and left in intentionally, such as the kajiit and skyforge chests. Removing them is essentially the unofficial patch team making their own executive decision to remove exploits that were intentionally left in by Bethesda denying players access. Many many people do not consider exploits and bugs in the same category as flat out using the console to cheat in items or noclip to chests. It's frustrating having to choose between a buggy game or removed intended exploits that the ussep team have deemed by themselves as cheating.
