Help me get Meeko to interact please (console command help)

[Ghee Buttersnaps]

Something happened at some point in my save file where Meeko disappears from the game, because about 50 game hours ago when I use player.moveto he moves right to functional Meeko, but ever since he's just gone. I can use player.placeatme and that spawns a Meeko object that will walk to his spawn area and bark but he won't interact with me.

I've tried recycleactor, resetai, setrelationshiprank to 4, enabling and disabling, killing and resurrecting. Typing in "help meeko" gives IDs for his dialogue options but I can't find any console commands for dialogue options.

Is there any way to get Meeko to become a follower so I can have my kids adopt him? I just have a thing for Meeko.

None of this works because Meeko won't appear in my game unless I use console commands and he will only appear as an object that walks to his spawn point and barks. Won't walk to the shack, won't talk to me, nothing.

You borked your save/the scripting/Meeko. Start a new game and see if Meeko shows up, and DON'T use any console commands except to teleport to Morthal. If he shows up, you don't have a deeper problem.

You borked your save/the scripting/Meeko. Start a new game and see if Meeko shows up, and DON'T use any console commands except to teleport to Morthal. If he shows up, you don't have a deeper problem.

Did you actually read the text in my post? Using a much older save, he's not bugged. Something happened along the way where he disappeared completely from the game.

Maybe you're just easier to understand when you're using punctuation instead of a ru-on sentence.
Again, you borked something, go back to before he disappeared and think real hard on where you saw him last, then recreate the error. Maybe he died. Maybe he got Hearthfire disappearing dog syndrome. Do you own any houses? Check all of them.

its better to use the unofficail patches tho, they fix alot of things.
i am afriad you wont be able to fix it now, seems the save has gone wrong.
btw, there are other cute followers via mods, and those seem to work always.
