How to activate Survival Mode?

I opt in the Beta, "bought" the Survival Mode in the Creation Club ingame but I cant find the option to activate it (in the option menu). Even in the Help menu there isnt a clue about Survival mode or Creation Club.

Any Advice?

Load a save file and go to setting > gameplay and it's above the difficulty setting.

You have to leave Helgen or your starting cell (in case of Live Another Life).

Hey this is a dumb question, but how do you even access the creation club? I don't see any options in the Skyrim starting menu regarding it.

You need to turn on Beta by going into properties. Right click on the game, properties and then beta

Followed above instructions. Survival mode still isn't appearing as an option, even with loading a save file for a character well outside of Helgen.
Edit: Also verified the game files' integrity. Still no option to toggle on Survival.

Download the beta erion(about 88mb) then go to the dreation club menu at the start screen and you should have an option to buy it for free.Then load the game.

I have this issue too, i tried with creating a new character and using an LV. 12 character, there is no option in settings > gameplay. The Creation club confirms that i have the addon.

@All: You have to be on the Skyrim SE beta branch and DISABLE UI MODS.
In the main menu you can see the "Creation Club" option where you can download Survival Mode for free this week.

Once done, when loading your game or starting a new one you should get a prompt whether or not you wish to activate survival mode, but you can also activate it via the settings.

I've gotten that far, but I'm in the middle of the wild in my savegame and I don't see survival effects yet, I guess you need to change cells or something to truly activate it.

For those of you who can't find the survival settings under gameplay:
It might be if you using the early release of SkyUI it removes the survival check box and keeps resetting the difficulty setting to novice.

I just had this problem and figured it out. Here's what you do!

After you get it installed and load up your game (making sure you let it reload after closing the creation club, if you're on a console, opening once, and then reloading if you're on PC), fast travel anywhere that will force the game to load. I was on a mountaintop and went to whiterun. This get it in gear, and a few seconds after that the menu describing survival mode popped up, and after I enabled it on THAT, the option appeared in my settings menu, before that it wasn't there. Hope this helps! :)
