'Creation Club will be officially launching for Skyrim SE soon. A beta is currently ongoing if you wish to try it out early.
For the duration of beta, the only creation available is Survival mode, which is detailed further in this article. Survival is freely available for the duration of the beta. Once Creation Club has officially launched, it will remain free to purchase on all platforms for one week. This is a sale, not a limited trial.'
UbiSoft here we come or welcome to Product Marketing 101.
Talk about sneaky/crafty if not downright dirty.
Classic stealth inducement. Bethesda have clearly sussed out the target lemmings (sorry, mean customer) group and what motivates them.
Well done Bethesda, I can see 10,000's falling for this nice bit of salesmanship. Whoever came up with this should get a bonus.
Respects.
CCCleaner[www.nexusmods.com]
It removes the unwanted adware that got downloaded onto my computer without me knowing it until it was too late.
I sincerely hope that there will be one for Special Edition, since you collaborated with Steam to HIDE the old Skyrim from store searches. Therefore it is fair to say that we shall collaborate to REMOVE CC from our games!
Such shady practice in order to push, no, force your CC store into our single player experience will not go unchallenged.
I've felt like I have had to uninstall Skyrim SE because I wanted to protect it from getting CC advertising forced into it. It is feeling more and more like I may never go back to it again, but that depends on if the modding community survives the tainting of greed that's being smeared all over it right now.
I used to be a big fan of Bethesda. Which is why I'm so upset.
Because if he is not - well, I'm going to boycott all your games from this time onward. And I was looking forward for buying The Evil Within 2 on my PS4. Because it looks awesome.
But if you are screwing freelance modder off of his work... I'm going to vote with my wallet then. Though I'm not going to be very happy about it.
Not started by a quest like some of the FO4 CC microtransaction items?
It becomes available after leaving Helgen keep, just confirmed it.
But I will have to test and compare this with mods from nexus to see which I like most.
Seriously suspect it will not stay free and active once it is official released out of beta. Get that sort of impression reading between the lines of some of the official posts.
Just to clarify, once you download Survival Mode it's yours to keep. After the free week is over, it won't be deactivated if you downloaded it within that time.
