Mist/fog/Volumetric Issue in Solstheim???
I have quite a few hours into this game, and have recently noticed something odd when I am in Solstheim. When weather conditions are foggy/misty (I am using COT) there seems to be a "bubble" around my character (first person) with virtually NO fog/mist, and then a sudden and harsh (non-immersive) transition to fog/mist conditions. In relative terms, this bubble extends out from my character about 50 to 75 ft.

I have never noticed this "bubble" anywhere in Skyrim, and I have wandered about extensively in all kinds of weather conditions. This "bubble" only appears in Solstheim, and only exterior wanderings.

I fiddled with a few ini settings, to no avail. Has anyone else experienced this, and come up with a fix?

Regards,
HDJeff

Here is a screenshot showing the ugly transition line. This transition follows my character as I move about.

I've run into the same problem today.
Only happens when the weather turns foggy.
Looks exactly like yours.

Hey! I found a fix in the console commands. It's a fog issue. If you type setfog 0,40000 that fixes it.

Hope someone eventually makes a mod for this tho

The correct "Setfog" command is:

setfog 5000 50000

(yes both numbers at once)

enjoy :)
