Cause you do realise that if you've installed all those big mods like "Falskaar" and "Beyond: Bruma" you can't uninstall them and hope to use old saves- it even says in the description that those mods interfere to heavily with game scripts
But, for some odd reason, a bunch of mods aren't being loaded or even installed. LeanWolfs Better Shaped weapons, and some retexture mods for argonians and khajiit i was using. They show up as a activated on NMM but they arent in the load order.
1. a wrong load order. Run Loot and then post the load order loot gives you. Loot does not always give you the proper load order for you mods. This is why I am asking you to post your load order.
2. Incomplete or corrupted save files. Do NOT rely on autosaves or quicksaves. Instead use the manual save system in the options menu. Try to a manual save before changing cells or fast-travel.
And like someone said above, test out your problem on a new game.
I used LOOT and tes:v edit, if you're already using nexus i'd imagine you've done at least some of this but let us know what the status is on all that.
Also browse the nexus forums real quick for "installed mods not loading" or something of the sort.
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data and check if there are (folders don't matter at this point) any other files that are named differently than "Skyrim - Meshes/ Textures 1,2,3..." so you can tell if NMM installed mods to the correct place
For mod to work you need both .esp file in that place as well as actual mod files (those can be placed there either as a new folder or somewhere in other subfolders in that Data folder)
