Ordinator Mod won't work please help!
I watched a youtube video listing the 5 mods to make the game more RPG like. It looked amazing, I had to try, so my journey began learning how to do this stuff, like getting the mod manager from nexus, all the mods, and how to set it all up. The mods are:

Aurora: Standing Stones of Skyrim
Imperious – Races of Skyrim
Apocalypse – Magic of Skyrim
Alternate Start Mod
Ordinator Overhaul

I gave up on Alternate Start since it's the least essential imo and it didn't work. Don't really care, but I want the other 4 badly to all work together although Ordinator Overhaul is by far the most important to me and the only one that won't work even by itself with no other mods.

I try to launch the game from mod manager, the launcher pops up, I hit Play, but nothing happens. Can anyone help?

I started trying this with regular skyrim, instead of the special edition and I can get the Ordinator mod to work, but none of the others work with it. Man this is really frustrating. Even though I got the version of Apocalypse that's specifically supposed to be compatible with Ordinator the two won't work together, let alone all 4.

The Overhauls you mention all work together and they are made by the same author. They were designed that way. Alternate Start works as well. You must use LOOT to sort your load order. Also install the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition patch. Other than fixing thousands of bugs, it is required for many mods. So make sure you are using the Special Edition versions of the mods, Nexus Mod Manager to install, reading all mod descriptions, and using LOOT to sort the load order. Here are some overhauls I use, which LOOT sorts in this order...

- Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch
- Summermyst: Enchantments of Skyrim
- Aurora: Standing Stones of Skyrim
- Wildcat: Combat of Skyrim
- Ordinator: Perks of Skyrim
- Thunderchild: Epic Shouts and Immersion
- Spectraverse: Magic of the Magna-Ge
- Dwemertech: Magic of the Dwarves
- Apocalypse: Magic of Skyrim
- Apocalypse: Magic of Skyrim - Ordinator Patch
- Imperious: Races of Skyrim
- Alternate Start: Live Another Life
- Alternate Start: LAL Expansion - New Beginnings

Why do I need to use a program for the load order instead of finding out what load order I need and just loading in the proper order? Only reason I ask is it seems like that should be easier than finding and learning to use yet another program I've never heard of. Also, I was wondering if one of my issues is that I downloaded the files then manually put them into the mod manager instead of downloading using the mod manager, since I couldn't remember my password to log in through mod manager and didn't feel like guessing. What do you think?

Also thanks for your help.

You have to be logged in the Nexus website, not the Nexus Mod Manager to click that link... which I recommend instead of manually doing it in your case. However that should not be the problem as long as they are being installed properly. I think your problem is the load order, which 2 clicks of the mouse would fix with LOOT.

There isn't much to learn for how to use it. You drop it in a folder and tell NMM where it is. Then you can click Supported Tools in NMM, Launch LOOT, then click SORT PLUGINS, then click APPLY. Done. Keep in mind the plugin list in NMM will not update in real-time after that to match until you relaunch NMM... but you don't have to relaunch it to play the game with the newly sorted plugins. The reason people use LOOT is because nobody just stops with 5 or 10 mods, they install hundreds. Either way, you can sort your plugins manually if you want in NMM in the plugins tab.

Ok, thanks again. I did actually get LOOT, right after complaining about not wanting to. Also about to get the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch. Your last post answered my next question perfectly, which was how to use it with NMM.

One last noob question (I hope). In mod descriptions it keeps talking about needing to have a certain version of ES such as Skyrim Special Edition V1.5.3 or greater in order for it to work. If it's completely updated through steam, I'm good right?

Yeah, you're good.

Finally got it! Ended up having to delete them all and redownload through NMM. I think I might've been doing something stupid like putting compressed files into NMM.

I'm starting to understand why people have hundreds of these mods. Now that I'm somewhat confident I can get them to work, I'm pretty interested in finding out what else there is even though I haven't started playing these ones yet.

One last question (promise!): In the future if I add more mods I'll most likely need to start a new game, correct? Or is it just some mods I'll need to?
Hi I have ,,fixed'' my load order with LOOT and Andromeda and Ordinator still do not work in the way that skyrim just does not start, could someone please help me with that.
Thank you in advance.
