Are Stormcloaks racist? (Explain in a short way)

I have a Nord character and I want to join Stormcloaks to see a different story path and ending. But I read some stuff telling Stormcloaks are racist. Despite it's a game I hate racism. However I don't wanna pick Imperials again. So I am a bit confused. Help?

I don't believe so, if you play the story one person that explains their morals says this, I will try and give you a simple kind of script preveiw so you know. If you ask questions to this person here is what they say. This is not the exact screen play but it is vary close to what is said.

Player: I am not a nord, why would you want me to join?

NPC: You don't have to be a nord to fight for skyrim...

So with the on going thing of NPCs who walk you through the stormcloak rebelion, I would say not. Nords in general are kind of racist XD But over all I would say that the Stormcloaks are not racists they are just nords who are a little too prideful, though they never show rasism to the player that I remember, so probably not. I play as a Khajiit and from what I remember they never really use the racial slurs most nords do to my character when interacting with him.

Be whatever/whoever game throws at you unless you understand what is game and what is not. If you don't understand the difference, then you should probably uninstall Skyrim (and all other games) and don't play them ever again.

As for you original question... Yes, nords are racist as well as all other races.

Just go to Windhelm and listen to Ulfric and Galmar have a little chat about Ulfrics reasons for the civil war.

Sounds more like a freedom fighter to me. Then again I prefer imperials because Ulfric is just dividing the Empire against the Thalmor threat but in any case Ulfric isn't rebelling because of any racial reasons. He just wants Nords to be able to get their voices heard.

some of the storm cloaks are racist and some of them are not... ulfric is racist because he refuses to help the dunmer in the gray quarter plus he goes on a rant about how when he came back from war he was greeted with familar faces... meaning the elves he fought and now elves in his home.... but you dont have to be like every other person... i joined the legion as a Dark Elf mage cos i wanted a better life for my dunmer people in the gray quarter i couldnt care less about the politics of the war... i put my dunmer child in solitude and joined the legion for saftey for my race because ulfric planned to kick out the dunmer when he gets the high king throne.... so you can make your own reasons for fighting with a faction because all the people in the factions all have different reasons too...

When it comes to the Stormcloaks, some are some aren't.

Their leader unfortunately is. His reason for fighting might not be racially motivated, but take a look at the Dunmer and Argonians living in Windhelm. If you talk to the one NPC that's on good terms with the Dunmer, he flat out says that if Nords are attacked near Windhelm then Ulfric doesn't hesitate to send out a group of guards to deal with the threat. If it's Dunmer, Khajiit, Argonian...he ignores it or is VERY slow in responding. This shows that he has a very strong "Nords first" mentality.

He's also a bit of an arrogant prick so there's that to.

Yeah, totally racist, every single one. Not one non-pasty non-nord in the entire stormcloak army. So definitely join them if you want to see the ending where skyrim stays exactly the same as every other ending to all the other quests.
