Mod Organizer 2 launches SSE Launcher but not the game.

Ok so i while installing mods I tried to run the game through MO2. The launcher cam up but when I click play nothing happens.
I tried removing all mods and having a clean Data folder, still nothing.
The game game launches through Steam and Wrye Bash perfectly, but with no mods obviously.
Has anyone come across something like this

EDIT: Fixed by installing Mod Organizer 2 in the SSE game folder.

Did you try disabling all mods in MO2? MO2 doesn't add anything to the data folder btw.

Yeah i tried that. I used a clean data folder because some mods I had to install manually.

This is weird. I have no idea since you say that the game runs just fine if it wasn't launched through MO2.

Direct MO2 to the SSe.exe instead of the SSElauncher.exe

Ok I managed to fix it by reinstalling MO2 in the game folder.
It's weird because last time i used it from the other install location it worked.
