question for my ordinator(mod) bros out there: "Snipe"
alright my question is about the snipe skill in the archery tree with the ordinator perk mod.

it says that shooting targets you haven't shot within the past 10 seconds inflicts a critical strike that deals 3x critical damage, and any weapon enchantments applied are twice as effective.

so it's pretty self explanatory except i want clarification on this skill for sneak attacks. when i first enter an area i haven't shot any of the enemies so when i first sneak attack these enemies will "snipe" apply to them? or is it only for targets that you have already shot at least once?

the reason i ask is because, with ordinator, i've found sneak archery to lack the insane damage potential compared to daggers w/ ordinator. but if snipe works on the first hit an enemy has received then sneak archery can kind of catch up to daggers. and yes i know that bows should never reach the sneak damage of daggers because they are ranged attacks.

It depends if they've see you or not. You can snipe the same target more than once or multiple targets if they are stupid. Most likely they will be dead after the first shot especially if you use the crossbow. This varies at higher difficulty levels.

i'm talking about the "Snipe" perk in the ordinator perk mod. i know i can shoot the same target multiple times and retain the sneak bonus if i'm far away enough or have high enough sneak %. what i'm asking is if the snipe perk works on the very first arrow you shoot at a guy.

Snipe will work on fresh targets. That still falls within the skill description. "...target you have not shot within the last 10 seconds."

If you've never shot someone then it must be true that you have not shot them in the past 10 seconds.
