No grass with verdant: Grass disappears with verdant grass mod

Hello,

When i installed Verdant 1.5 SSE edition, Grass just disappears.
I tried a lot of things in the skyrim.ini and the skyrimprefs.ini, including the ones of the author of course, but it's always the same problem.
I used BethINI to backup my ini files, i have even delate and re download the game but nothing worked.
Actually my only mods are vivid wether and verdant. ( verdant come after vivid).
If you have any solution to offer tell me i need your help, it's been weeks i'm on it but i don't loose faith :)

You should try using LOOT to sort the mod order and make sure there's no errors being thrown at you. For all we know, you could have an incompatiblity or a missing dependency.

ok thanks you, i just did it and the only warnings i have are on the dlc of skyrim se, ( Update.esm , Dawnguard.esm, HearthFires.esm, Dragonborn.esm). That is saying "SSEEdit found 178 ITM records, 11 deleted references and 5 deleted navmeshes. A cleaning guide is available here."
Maybe i need those missing files to work verdant? i have the steam version btw.

nope, those are the standard DLC that are included with skyrim SE. Funny how they're not clean but you don't need to clean them since it's the same for everyone. Unfortunately not all mods will work with every system but you are absolutely free to see if the mod's web page has comments of other people having issues. If not, I would recommend giving a different mod a shot. I doubt you will need to start a new save file for this kind of mod but it would be interesting to see if it fixes everything if you did try a new save.

This is the extent of what I can help you with. When mods don't work I tend to just get rid of it and use an alternative one :P

i just start a new game but there is always no grass, i did look at a lot of forum with people who have the same problem, that quite wierd because on the ini files differents solutions are working for some guys, solutions sometimes opposit, like for one make b30GrassVS=0 on skyrimprefs work and for the other make b30GrassVS=1 works too :o the problem is that i don't understand nothing about what does it really change.
i also tried veydoesbrom grass and groundcover, but i have exacly the same issue, and i don't find other grass mod.
May be that my main problem is that I can not give up :D

I won't pretend to know what the variables mean but some things are specific to direct x features that are either supported or not supported by your video card. I remember the original skyrim supporting dx9 but I think the special edition supports dx11? While I have no idea why grass would require any kind of special requirement from directX, it wouldn't surprise me if it's something that uses a module that isn't supported with older video cards?

Maybe for others who come in to try and help, it would be useful to know what kind of video card you have?

yes you're right i have a evga gtx 980 Ti,
i'm not so surprise i have some issues because it's not the first time, i had also a lot of problems with my dll on system32 who did not allow me to use enbseries. But that's the same, i had to add a lot of dll files without understanding what i was doing... ( but that worked afer a lot of tryhard :) )
well it's not so easy to do what you want when you're not a pro^^

anyway if someone have any suggestion, even if it's in several weeks, months or thousands of years, i will always be interested :D
