CTD at Raldbthar

[Mind the G&P]

Howdy-do,

I've invested about 50 or so hours into a modded game and I've haven't had any problems up until recently when my game began crashing during the Dark Bortherhood questline; specifically the "Mourning Never Comes" quest. I don't believe it is the quest alone that is messing up my game, however (though I could be wrong) I think the problem lies within Raldbthar, the location you need to go to complete the quest.

So whenever I'm doing anything with Raldbthar, my game will CTD with no error window or anything of the sort. On one occasion I've gone far enough to find the Centurion in the Deep Market and defeat it before my game crashes. The same thing will happen after reloading the quicksave I've took after defeating it; sometimes with only a few seconds of leeway before I crash or no time at all.

I've also loaded a save I took before encountering the centurion and traced my steps back to the entrance, though I either crashes moments after exiting or after fast-traveling to another location.

After both of these instances I uninstalled my mods, reinstalled Skyim SE, and loaded up both saves to see if that would fix the problem, though the crashes kept happening.

Then I reinstalled the mods and loaded up an older save I took before starting the Aventus Aretino quest and worked my way through the DB questline up until I got to Raldbthar. Upon arrving at the location and waiting, the crashes began happening again.

So at this point I'm all out of any options I can think of, I've tried most of the bug/crash fixes out there to no avail. Along with that, there hasn't been any discussion about a problem like this as far as I can tell.

Same problem, once I get within even a mile of the place it crashes the game, no where else, only there...

OBIS is very bad mod if you want to run alot of mods, people always have some issues with that one. I for one think its a miracle you are able to CTD your game with this mod list considering mine is like 4x bigger.

But you have alot of heavy mods which include OBIS,open cities,immersive citizens,wet and cold,frostfall (btw for some people disabling frostfall stops CTDs ,including me) I stopped using frostfall since its very crashy mod in combat especially. Thats all i can suggest, try getting rid of OBIS, or try disabling frostfall to begin with (ingame options, dont remove the mod, causes more issues).
