Slow time shout lasting forever?
I just got the second part to the slow time shout and I used it for the first time. Its only supposed to last like 10 seconds I belive, but its lasting forever since I used it. Is there a consle command or something I can use to stop this?

I have this issue when on the thieves guild quest "speaking with silence" while in the middle of the dungeon "snow veil sanctum" and was caught on fire right before shouting. i tried saving and re-loading, which didnt work, and you certainly cant wait, sleep, or fast travel while in a dungeon or while taking fire damage. I even used COC to travel to a lake and try to submerge myself in water to put out the fire but was just on fire underwater. i ended up doing a manual save, exiting out of the game entirely, and launching skyrim back up, loading the manual save, and typing "kill player" in the console, and i think this resets the slow time timer, (which should be 8 seconds real time. there is no translation for how long the game time the shout lasts, it lasts 8 seconds for the player. as in the clock on your phone will have 8 seconds pass, then the slowtime shout effect stops.) and the slow time effect wore off 8 seconds after typing in "kill player" (nothing else happened, player didnt die, did NOT have tgm or tim enabled.

tl:dr manual save, exit out of whole game, relaunch, reload, and type "kill player" in console and wait about 8 seconds. player wont die.

Real Solution: type "help "slow time" " and it should show you a few results, one should look like "SPEL: (00048AD2) 'Slow Time' " with some other results aswell, by using "player.dispel 0004AD2" I was able to turn off the slow time effect. hope this helps!

But when your in slowmo, 10 seconds lasts for many minutes,, because time is slowed down...

Did you try using the shout again? I have heard sleeping fixes the problem too.

Try to wait, sleep, fast travel, everything that makes the game reload the environment.

Oh my goodness! Thank you for the help! With mods that make doors and inventories animate open and whatnot, an infinite stop time when trying to escape a fight was infuriating given that it prevents sleep/wait/fast travel. Knowing I can just find the spell/shouts active effect and dispel it is a VERY nice thing to know. Works for modded time spells too, but if they all call their effect 'time stop' it can take a while to type the right one in. Saved me like a 10 minute wait.
