Skyrim Horses are fake?
Now I am no where near an expert on nay-nay physioligy or breeding methods. But something tells me the horses in Skyrim don't exsist in real life.
Of course they probably have roots and inspiration in a horse breed IRL. But what I seriously doubt is that real horses are capable of Spiderman like physics defiance and or the the ability to beat several heavily armed men to death with its front legs.
I am ofcourse open to scientific correction and or that of a forum troll pretending to be a man of Horse Knowledge. LMK tho

Skyrim is a world where magic exists. Maybe some bored mage went to town on the horses.

I'm more concern how horses can climb surfaces that almost at angle of 90 degrees

Horses can climb very steep surfaces, but not like they can in Skyrim.
Horses are also very strong and heavy and could probably break your back by jumping on it with it's front legs.
I am by no means a "horse expert", but I think it's possible.

Well they're better than the leaning horses of Oblivion.

I don't know about fake, but my Frost is definitely a flake... always scarpering off at the first sign of trouble. Mind you, I'm now using the "Convenient Horses" mod and you can train your horse in things like speed. He's literally flying across Skyrim at the speed of Concorde now. So maybe a bit fake too.

I've been kicked in the ribs by a horse before. It hurts. A lot. I spent about 20 minutes curled in the foetal position desperately trying to breathe and hoping nothing was broken. (Fortunately it wasn't fitted with shoes, or doctors would have spent some hours putting my ribcage back together.) A horse probably couldn't take down several heavily armed men, but when they get feisty... it pays to keep your distance.
Horses are real enough, it's the phsyics of Tamriel that are fake.

Actually you may need to read up on history, historically the mounts of knights did do exactly that, they were trained to fight on after their knight was un-mounted (that is forcable dismounted rather than amicably), and would not only bite and trample their enemies, but also regrettably on occassion their allies and stablemen.

Alexander is absolutely right about this. War horses were specially trained - and often far more valuable than humans or equipment.

go to the highest place in all of skyrim
summon your horse
ride your horse off the cliff but do a mario and jump off right before you fall
watch your horse fall down and down and down and down

Not a horse expert either but looking at their feet they bear a resemblance to Clydsdale horses, which are quite strong, i'd imagine getting smashed in the face by one could easily kill. Of course Nirn horses defy physics and scale cliffs as adeptly as goats.

That's because horses of Skyrim are more closely related to Sleipnir (see: Frost's lineage papers) which makes them greater than mere mortals such as yourself would understand.

What I have come to understand from this grand meeting of the minds is:
1.Horses can indeed F*** your S*** up in Dovahkiin like fashon.
2.Half of Skyrim is worth less than a horse
3.I need to steal/turn some random horses into Yoshi.

Turn off the cowardly setting for him so he doesn't run.
Foolhardy makes them attack things they'd run from in cowardly.
