I cant get Serana to follow me

I have completed the dawnguard questline and after that Serana herself return to the castle without my request.And when i try to get her to follow me i cant because there is no option for that in her dialogue.I have noticed in relevant posts that its possibbly some sort of bug but im not sure how it fix it anyway.Any suggestions?

My guess would be to use the console to make sure you have fully completed the dawngaurd, i cant give the setstage command becuase i dont know the specific quest, reseach the quest id then complete it via console

Sounds defently bugged out, usualy she fights with you against Harkon and then you can say her to stay or to go away (then you can still tell her to follow). If you send her away BEFORE you finish the Questline you can run in to that Problems in my expirence (on one playthru she completley dissapered) so jeah better keep her with you

well to tell you the truth i remember that she just left after the dlc was done and i cant do anything with her but it could be what you said if my memory sucks XD

i tried the commands they didnt work at all then itried something else i watched on youtube it did work but now even though i got serana to follow me i cant marry her XD

Serana is not marriageable.

In vanilla Skyrim, Serana isn't marriable.....

oh come onnn i got skyrim SE unfortunately.Funny thing is i wanted to get the simple one and wait for some discount to get the all the DLC to but count fidn it at all and the was no disconut damn it.This md from Nexus is it possible for SE?

I think I left her permanently hanging around at Dawnguard when I played Oldrim... thought she was a real buzzkill and needed some happy pills for sure - not my favorite follower! lol

I'm afraid not... It's still a long way for SE to have the same variety of mods like the original, even SKSE isn't out yet.
