Open Cities makes some npc disappear ?
Title says everything
And... I notice at Skyforge, there's smelter which it shouldn't be there.
When I still have the mod enabled, I look him everywhere and can't find him. So I use console to track him. Suddenly, He's in the NOT Open Cities of Whiterun.
Is this a bug on that mod?

Pretty sure I install the mod first before creating new game
Let's just say I have existing save game. It affects quite a lot?

yea because some npcs will be stuck in the "old" whiterun especially npcs that you have quests open with.

Ah well. It's nice immersive mod, but makes some npc broke. Nice to know and ty for the reply
SpeedFreak1972 Jul 12, 2017 @ 1:59am
it also depends on other mods for instance mods that alter npcs (for instance immersive citizens) open cities needs a lot of patches for that kind of mods.

I think it says on the mod page that Open cities don't work well with NPC behaves altering mods

Ty for help, but I decided to start new game to avoid any bugs that may occur

I had the same problem but I've removed the mod as it kept crashing my game during load times (probably because of the amount of mods I have loaded) anyone know how to get them back in the functioning city as I have a lot of NPCs in an empty unloaded Riften and need to no clip through the wall to access them XD

If you removed the mod and continued playing from that same save, your game is totally borked. The vast majority of mods CANNOT be removed mid-playthrough. If you remove/disable a mod (with certain specific exceptions), you must either roll back to a save made before the mod was installed, or if one is not available, start a new game. There are no other options. For full information on this, see:

You CANNOT Remove Mods Mid-Playthrough -

Game is basically fine other than that and it's only some of the Smegmahead rabble from the market at Riften
