Flawless Ruby
How do I get a flawless Ruby? I need one for a quest. Thanks!

By looting urns in crypts.

Buying one from a merchant.

Mining a ruby vein.

Sometimes a draugr or bandit may carry one.

I do not know of any permanent locations for one.

look up comand code for it instead of running around wasting time never mind i found it for you its ~` then type 00068522 1 then hit the enter you welcome

Get the Chrysamere Mod at Beth/net lots of Flawless Rubies, and get lots of fire protection first.

There are ruby veins in Solstheim. (As well as emerald and sapphire).

Just an FYI for anyone who does look for it- the boat smashed to pieces below Sky Haven Temple in the Reach contains a fair amount of gemstones, I don't know if it's guaranteed to always have a Flawless Ruby but every time I start Peryites quest I head straight there and there has always been one there for me.

lol - last time I did that quest I got the flawless ruby from the silver ore outcrop on the way back down the hill. If only that were the case every time :D

Incidently you get gemstones out of ore veins too, including flawless ones.

Do not waste time, every item in the game has a code. You can get the code by opening the console with the tilde key (under esc on most keyboards) and tipying help "flawless ruby" Once you have the code type player.additem 00068522 1. The numbers is the item code and the number one at the end is the number of flawless rubys to add.
