Glitch: Orphans Tear Mine
I fast traveled to Orphans Tear Mine to halt the slave trade. I killed all the outside bandits, entered the mine and killed all the internal bandits. I freed the father and then went to ensure the exit was still clear so the dad and his family could make their escape. I cross from the cave to Skyrim, see the Thalmor and his two guards and the game freezes. I can hit escape to exit, its not a hard freeze. I've tried saving the same and replaying the level fro the moment I get there but the end result is the same.

Can anyone tell me how to get past this glitch and finish this quest?

you know, if I hadn't looked it up I wouldn't have know what damn cave you were talking about.

It happen to me, couldn't fix, act 7 of quest in Helgen Reborn, Best bet go back before starting quest and continue doing something else. Can't complete the rest of Helgen Reborn. Was taken down the other day, let the modder know, if back in nexus.

I know from playing the previous edition that there is a way in console to view the quest you are on, list its acts and maually set a stuck act as complete. Its been some time since I've thought about doing this, does anyone know how? Can you tell me or point me to the info?

@JDaremo Fireheart, Yeah I forgot to mention the Mod. Thanks for the link. I already have.

I manged to work around the issue using the below console command while I was frozen outside the cave.

SetStage BalokBitterWounds 140

Its a good thing I'm a pack rat with old links (had the same type of issue with the White Phail).
