Ebony Warrior killed J'zargo and he fell down the mountain
What are the exact commands to select his dead body and resurrect him? Enemies aren't suppoosed to actually kill followers all the way but somehow the ebony warrior just did it during my battle with him, after I looted his body I noticed J'zargo is gone and I only found his weapon dropped on a rock, which means his dead body fell down the mountain.

Using the resurection command never works. The npc is only a clone with limited ai. Do you have a save from before the battle?

Sure do. So I have to tell J'zargo to lay low I guess.

if he dies, he dies

I hate to be "that guy", but didn't the Ebony Warrior call YOU out... Not your follower. Bringing J'zargo to the fight, or any follower, is like bringing a friend to help you in a one on one basketball game...

Bad comparison, it's not like J'zargo has any say in the fight, he does virtually zero damage to the ebony warrior and will die instantly. A better comparison would be if I were to bring a child in a wheelchair to the one on one basketball game.

Either way... It sounds like a d*ck move...

I saw a command on youtube that makes any character essential or non-essential. Click on them and type into the console, 'issential' to check their mortality, setessential [BaseID] 1/0 1=immortal/0=mortal

Get Ultimate Follower Overhaul. It has the ability to set the essential flag on followers (You know...You Are Important) as well as the ability to bring 15 of them with you.

Combined with my Improved Housecarls and Hirelings mod (Nexus), your Followers are actually useful, especially mages. Illia is a beast and almost makes the game not fun because she's so fantabulous.

As for the Ebony Warrior calling you out, nobody got where they are by themselves. It was a team effort. You call me out, you're calling the team, and I'm bringing the team. Besides, he's resistant to most Shouts and spells.

Or you can show up with a 1-hit-wonder item, like gloves that do 50000 points of Unarmed Damage. Sock the guy once and then collect your loot.

It can cause bugs though. Like most commands.
ressurect does not work any more... i dont know the command or ID to bring his body to you..... but if you can find his body:

Open console

click on his body (so his ID shows up)

type "recycleactor"

this will reload him WITH original scripting and items in invo.

Hope this helps.
