Increase Random Dragon Spawn Rate
Remember when Skyrim first released and there were random dragon spawns everywhere you went? Well I want that back. I know how to spawn a random dragon but I want it to be more immersive. Does anybody know how to increase the spawn rate of random dragon attacks?

Thank you!

P.S. i read this console command spawns dragons: 'player.placeatme 0200c5f5 5' will spawn 5 dragons. take out the ' '. Haven't tested it but It's the closest thing I found.

You can try 0200c5f5 1 and it only spawn 1 instead of 5.
But yeah i would like to have more dragons show up without using console otherwise i have to wait for a cell reset and go to a word wall in the overworld to look for another dragon to kill.
I am using a mod that lets me spend my extra souls for stat increases, extra perk points, or more carryweight.

Or you need to wait for the "Deadly Dragons" mod to be released for SSE.

That mod makes them show up more?

Yes, but it can be dangerous in combination with other mods, I remember a couple of people dying a lot because they had this and one or two other mods that affect dragons.

Is there a way to see the number of dragon souls you have?

If you have the CK or xEdit to hand, try altering " Global " WIWaitDragon

Default is 3 which equates to 3 days afaik.

Happy Days :-)

No, I meant as in people playing the game, I read the threads they started and it eventually turned out to be Dangerous Dragons plus another two Mods with Dragons in the name.

It wasn't a common problem, but it was extremely irritating to the few that got it.

Please excuse my lack of understanding:
What is CK or xEdit?
Where do I find "Global" WIWaitDragon?

I need a bit more specific detail please.

Thank you for your assistance!

TBH, it's probably best if you wait for a mod, cjm...

I just don't feel comfortable trying to assist someone who is obviously unaware of even the most basic of mod tools from the many available. Sorry..

I now realize your speaking of the Creation Kit.

I'll just deal with it another way. Thankfully were not speaking about open heart surgery.

Thanks for your help.

Ahah.. now that cognitive activity is fully restored ( grinning ) you might like to download and install SSEEdit in order to simply achieve what you want. You had me worried, Cjm... and I thought you were just taking the micky...

It's just a matter of expanding the left-hand column of Skyrim.esm, expanding Globals and locating WIWaitDragon. Proceed to right click and then select " copy as override into " and select < new file > and name that new file. Edit the value and save. That's your mod which will appear in the data folder. I'm pretty sure you know what to do from there - lol. :D

Edit: trying to make it readable! because " spacing " is ignored. Grrr..
