Any good Dungeon Raider/Looter builds? (Indiana Jones)
Been wanting to try a Indiana Jones-like build for a while. The kinda guy that jumps into dangerous ruins and tombs looking for ancient treasure, but I'm not sure what skills to use.

Would Sneak or Tank work better for a Dungeon Raider?
Alteration would be useful for utility (Magelight, Detect life, Ash shell) but not so much for Sneak characters.
Archery would be good for Sneak characters. You can shoot the flaming pots and cause giant fires, Distract enemies, and start fights from a distance.

Any good builds you guys wanna share?

Generally... for EVERYTHING... you have to boost all the "Thief-Assassin" skills, you won't regret it. So yes, ONLY sneaking and killing like "Ninja" is the best option.
(I've been "master" of this strategy, even if my character is a Nord "tank-warrior").

And best DLC for "Indy" style, is the "Forgotten City"!

Honestly, if you're playing for an indiana jones experience I'd avoid the sneak tree. Indy relies more on brawn and brain then sneaky abilities. The light foot perk in the sneak tree, for example, would basically disable most traps in game. An idiana character should have to actually avoid them.

I go for a sneaky character in heavy armour, not particularly indiana jones, but I can sneak attack Draugr deathlords with a bow, and if they do find me, I'm still in heavy armour. If you take the right perks in sneak and heavy armour it does work.

But for an Indiana Jones type, well firstly you want either light armour or clothes, no sneak but Lockpicking is essential (especially for disarming traps when you can), and illusion for fear and rage spells might be an idea (I know Indie doesn't use them, but he would if he could). Now for weapon skills, no whips, but maybe onehanded swords and axes might work, and no guns, but archery would be the equivalent (crossbows ideally). Speechcraft is also an Idie essential skill, alchemy optional.

If you're looking for a good generic explorer/adventurer build, you could try something like Light Armor, Block, One Handed, Lockpicking, Alteration and Restoration for focused skills. The spell casting would mostly be support only, healing out of combat and Candlelight, Ash Runes ("setting traps"), Water Breathing, etc. I'd probably use Archery (a crossbow for alpha strikes, not for shooting guys full of bolts) and Sneak (for mobility/setting up attacks, not for assassinations) a bit but not perk them much. You could add Illusion too for some good support spells, but that may be a little heavy on the casting side if you're trying to avoid it. You could also skip magic entirely and put the perks in Speech or something else that would fit more of an RP desire. Speaking of, the extra gold and loot from perking Lockpicking can really help this kind of build.

I would avoid crafting (or maybe only do 1) to give you a good reason to really go out and dungeon crawl. Not being able to craft godly gear is a really good motivation to actually dig around looking for loot.
