Where to find Isran after bloodlines

I finished the bloodlines quest refused vampire blood and am trying to start the prophet quest but cannot find isran in dawnguard can seem to find everyone else except him.

Go to the castle/fort Dawnguard, save.
Load up any save where you know where Isran is, preferably one where you're already with him.
Once you find him, go into the console, left click Isran once then exit console

Load your latest save, go into console and type "moveto player"


Isran should then pop up

Does he leave with you when you go to fight vampires?
I never had him with me because he left first and I fast traveled

No he's always at the fort, unless there's a quest.

In that case

Go to your latest save and then go into console.
Type Prid XX003478, where XX is your dawnguard loadorder, which is usually 02, press enter
Type moveto player

also I'm told that if you refuse the vampire blood then when you get back to dawnguard you can find Isran fighting vampires near te gate. This never happend for me can anyone suggest fixes (also I'm not familiar with moding so um please provide a link or something)

Doesnt happen near the gate, it happens at the entrance to the fort. He does fight them but he comes back inside the fort afterwards.

Did you try my advice?

okay I've found Isran but he won't give me the next vampire quest. Also I go back to dawnguard and there is no fight with the vampires.
Was I suppose to bring the woman back to dawnguard first before taking her home to her castle? the quest never said that
