Ingjard is a Dawnguard member and since you're with the Volkihar Clan she won't be availiable as a follower. She only becomes recruitable if you're with the Dawnguard and you've completed "Prophet"
And considering the fact that you did all those things to her via console when you're on the wrong side as she is, it will bug out and she won't act normally.
If you really want it to work, I'd stop being a vampire, I'd join the Dawnguard, do enough quests so that she becomes recruitable, make her a steward of your home, then proceed to complete the Dawnguard DLC and then become a vampire lord again.
It should work, although it means you have to stop being a vampire temporarily.
I can't sadly, I got to the point where everyone at Fort Dawnguard is permanently hostile.
I read somewhere that Ingjard isn't technically part of the "dawnguard faction". She wasn't hostile when I spawned her (everyone else was), which probably confirms that information. Hopefully there's still a chance.
Im not exactly sure, but Ingjard has limited scripts pertaining to the Dawnguard side. I would venture a guess and say no, it should not cause any quest glitches if she is made Steward.
I would really stay away from these kinds of Console Commands. Scripted characters could permanently ruin a game if forced into a script-breaking role.
Ingjard is my favorite Steward, so that is a good choice, but to do it properly, you should have taken the Dawnguard side, finished the questline, hired Ingjard, then became a Vampire Lord.
I followed these instructions:
http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Console_Commands_(Skyrim)/Followers
More precisely, step 2. She'll be invisible, so you need to type "enable" (without the " ") while she's targeted to make her appear. To target her you can type "prid <BaseID>" (without the " " as before).
To make her a follower you can go through steps 3, 4 and 5. It worked for me, but I can't guarantee it's bug free, I"m still testing it.
Yeah I rarely mess with console because of the issues that come with it, but, Ingjard is a really minor NPC with no quests or events tied to her. She pretty much doesn't exist if the player joins the Volkihar Clan.
Are you aware that placeatme creates a copy of the original npc?
I am. Should I use "moveto player" instead? The fact that she's never enabled if you join the vampires made me think it would be safe enough either way.
