Why can't you skip certain dialogues?

I counted seconds and it takes for Mora 20-26 seconds to speak 1 sentence. 27second was longest (no exaggeration). While tt takes like 3 second to read it as I use subs. You can't skip even though it's in dialogue.

There are also many cutscenes. Where npcs slowly while explaining something. I hope there are mods that can bypass it.

Same here but that issue seemed only restricted to Dragonborn, Skyrim and Dawnguard are exempted from it.

it is a computer program after all, things have to happen before others or it won't work.

There is a Mod on the Nexus, Can't remember what it is called but it removes the Pauses from Conversations and speeds things up a bit which might help some.

Mira has his own quest in vanilla Skyrim with Septimus, so it's not just Dragonborn
