Can't leave Apocrypha?

I found a blackbook near one of the dragon priests, but now that I've reached the end and chosen a perk....I can't return to the mortal realm.

I click on the book for "return to Solstheim" but it just autosaves and does nothing.

Standing near the tentacles doesn't seem to harm me anymore.

Drowning in the black water just returns me to the book at the end.

Is there a console command to leave if this is a bug, or is there something I need to do before I click on the book?

Reading the book that sent you there in the first place can also makes you quit Apocrypha.

Just go into your inventory and it should work.

That book did not send me back. It simply opened the book for a second then it closed itself.

I ended up using console command

coc DLC2RavenRock01

did you disable fast travel? I ask it, because frostfall had this problem in apocrypha when you disabled fast travel.

Fast travel is not disabled in my game

Wew this is old, but helped me. I went into my inventory -> books and read the book i picked up when i got teleported into apocrypha

I'm going to bring this thread back from the dead and tell you the way I resolved not getting back was to have my follower stay away from me and wait so only I was the one moving. After I did that they were successful in removing me from the alternate realm.

I know this is an old question, but I would like to comment to note that this bug only seems to happen when you switch from one power to another. If you only get one power and don't try to switch, then try to leave it should work fine. So, if you want to avoid console command, just make sure you know which one you want.
