Playing with mods on 2 computers

I am always a bit nervous when it comes to downloading mods, so I just need to ask this before I do anything that might break my game.
So, I play Skyrim SE on two computers, my main computer and my laptop, depending on where I am, really. And I would like to install some mods, from the Skyrim SE Nexus. (mainly I just want the mod that gets rid of the fangs on my Argonian vampire, and the one that enables achievements when I am playibng with mods)

But my question is, if I download the said mods to this computer, but not to my laptop, will it affect my game in some way? Will it horribly lag? What could happen? Could my saves get corrupted or something? Or do I have to download the exact same mods on my laptop as well?

If you are using Steam Cloud to store your saves and accessing the same saves (same character) from both computers then you should have the mods installed on both.

If you are playing with local saves, (or different character) then the game is separate and you may mod one without modding the other game.

You're going to need the Unofficial Patch.

You have to have the same mods on both computers since it sounds like you'll be using the same character. If you don't yo will get a warning and things will be missing from the game (your argonian will have fangs and the like).

Install the unofficial patch as well, it fixes a lot of the bugs and glitches that are in the game.
