Okay... the big step now... which weather/lights (combo)???
So, I re-started modding SSE from scratch... and I am now (finishing) on the big/serious/important part:

Weather + lighting effects.

In previous (so many!) times I was modding, that was ALWAYS the tricky part - and ALWAYS I had problem with lights, interior & exterior, etc.

So, right now, I haven't installed anything (interior or outskirts). I'm wondering what to install (Vivid Weathers, CoT, other? ) and which combos to use - with realistic storms & thunders, raining, snowing, sunny days, realistic nights, realistic interior lights inside buildings, etc.

Any ideas? I'm really confused with this (last) part.
I always had problem with this part; while most of all I'm using are fine (and their results), the lights (interior-exterior) always had "glitch".

Please, help me a bit here...

Weather/Lighting mods can be a problem if you just slap them together and hope that they will work. Additonally, if you use reshade or ENB they could effect the lighting and weather as well.

This guide: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2846/?

Contains a few combinations that can work. STEP 11 (ctrl + f).

I personally use the Reshade (From guide) + Vivid Weathers + Realstic lighting and effects (Interior only). Stay away from ENB with ultimate settings if you value fps.

The only screenshot I have

Another good combination is Rudy ENB: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4796/?

Rudy contains an installation guide + videos to see each weather/lighting mod in action.

Stay away from True Storms unless you want to use it standalone, It's not very compatible.

I hope this will bring some clarity, if you have any questions just post them on here either I or someone else will help.

Good Luck!

Well, I saw some videos with Vivid and I didn't quite liked the result...
I was thinking about CoT, combined with ELTX (or I misspell it? )...

I also want candle/torch/fire smoke effect, and Realistic Lighting doesn't providing such effect.

That could and should work. I use ELFX. changing the weather mod is fine.

I would go through each mod page carefully to find out if they are compatible yourself. If you are using enb or reshade of any kind you need to check if it is also compatible.

I'm at work so I cannot really help right now.

i hate lighting mods conflict with almost everything and end up with flickering lights and watnot because they conflict with almost every mod possible as almost all mods have vanilla lighting records in them for some reason even tho they are not lighting mods. Take complete crafting overhaul for example like what is the reason behind all the lighting records in that mod you always have to put lighting mods after mods like that even tho loot always tries to do it the other way rnd and cancel out your lighting mods.

Like I said, I was (and I am now), using the ELFX because the nice extra effects it has (candle/torch/fire smokes). I also used (and loved it) the True Storm (and True Thunder addon) and the storms were amazing!...
...but, I always had (with Vivid Weather or CoT) that "flickering lights" that Nonames is saying; the very same "glitch"! I hated that...
