I like Silverstead otherwise... you gotta build it yourself, Hearthfire-style, but it's pretty impressive.

I use a castle style near Whiterun that has a museum style storage area for relics as well as abundant other display and storage areas.

Damn, have to check that one out for myself. Never really liked houses in that area because of distance from the west side of the map. But it might be cool to check out anyway.

nice thread, I've been curious as to what some other people's favorites are. I tested out many houses for 0ver a week, installing and uninstalling. this one ended up being my favorite so far, not too huge, defonitely not cramped,custom storage and all of the necessities
and it has a lockable gate , but the house is in the world space so no loading screens except for the basement
